Warm welcome on arrival and all the staff we met were friendly. Room was spotless and very comfortable. We knew in advance about the building works but they were hardly noticeable. Yummy cocktails in the bar as well. Definitely stay here again xx

"Great location. Excellent decore. Pleasant staff "
Great location for a four day stay. Right slap bang in the middle of Temple Bar but surprising quit, Even the night club next to reception could not be heard upstairs and we were only on the first floor and although our room did look out down a side alley, which could have been cleaner but that's no fault of the Hotel only the other establishments around them. Just one thing which we never got to the bottom of was how did the air conditioning work? To be fair to the Hitel we didn't ask and it wasn't that much of a problem. Maybe it's something you gave to pay extra for.

"Potential but facelift not complete"
Second time in a week I stayed at this hotel and very different experience both times. The first stay was very pleasant with a modern room with good facilities. The second time, the room was little more that a B&B type feel, and not a good one. Very tired part of the hotel which was not specified, or not clear when booking the room on Expedia. The communal areas like reception, bar and ground floor restaurant are good, however the breakfast room is very tired.

"Half hours walk to Dublin centre"
I am a keen walker it took me half an hour to the centre of Dublin not the ten minute walk I was told by Expedia staff when booking. On arrival Paul at concierge was not very helpful regarding our questions. He was not listening to all our questions and seem to want us away from the desk quickly. We wanted to print our return flight tickets for the following day. We were told to go to the business centre on the second floor where there was no help. We asked at reception and were told what to do. These instructions did not work, we then returned to reception where we were told reception staff have a job to do at the desk not help us. We were then promised a member of staff would be able to help in 5 mins, someone who understood IT. They did not arrive. Eventually a receptionist struggled helping us and it took her another 15 mins before the printer at her desk downstairs would print off the vouchers, the business centre printer was not working. The receptionist who took the details to her reception desk rather than continue to try at the business centre was very helpful. We were doing what was explained, it was the equipment that was at fault not our IT skills. We were disappointed with the lack of help in both areas and having to go up and down two flight of stairs each time. Thank heavens we did this the day before our flight as it took much longer than we expected.

"Nice hotel close to Trinity College"
Nice hotel close to Trinity College. We could see the Kennedy Pub Bar from our window. It was not a pickup point for our excursions and we had to walk 5 to 10 minutes to pickup locations. I you enjoy watching TV... you will need to go to a pub since the rooms have very old TVs with only 15 channels or so.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Baggot Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
