"Cosy hotel near to the Verona Puorta Nuova"
Breakfast was adequate but the staff's friendliness was impeccable. Very near the train station- make sure to walk up the ramp (next to the stairs- right next to the bicycle rental area) instead of following Google maps. Rooms were bigger than most in Europe, air-conditioning was great. Wifi was slow but it works (so if it's important, I wouldn't suggest this place)

"The place to stay in Verona"
We were a bit nervous about choosing this Hotel for our silver wedding anniversary with all the reviews regarding the noise from the visitors to this famous courtyard. However it seems to be well managed and our room faced the street. Verona is generally noisy, we had a noisy drain inspection two mornings just under our balcony, so you can never win. We never saw the same staff from day to day, however they were all a mixed bag of friendliness. Our room was great, bathroom was a little tired but v clean. We had breakfast in our room, which was great. There isn't a restaurant so all the food comes from local producers. We couldn't believe how they were able to keep scrambled eggs, tea and coffee still hot. We'd love to go again!

"Nice hotel close to sightseeing"
This hotel is beautiful and the staff is excellent. They even will offer suggestions on touring highlights and sell the hop on and off bus tickets there. It is in walking distance to the arena and many restaurants too. Plus, it only cost us 8 euros to get back by taxi to the train station. Our room was clean, large, and had all the modern conveniences. Plus, the breakfast set up is delicious with many options. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

"Honeymoon trip that included 2 nights in Verona"
Greeted upon arrival by the very friendly owner, Luigi, who quickly went through the basics with us and showed us our room which was very cozy. Basic amenities including soap and shampoo were also provided which was nice considering that this was not a hotel. The room itself included a balcony that gave us a beautiful view of the very european street we were on. Our room was within walking distance of all the main Verona squares including Piazza Erbe and this allowed us to explore all of the sites. Coming to Verona in January is wonderful and can be very romantic. Having said that, it is very cold during this period and many of the theatre plays/shows are not on. This is a word of caution for the traveller hoping to attend the amphitheatre for a show during this period - they only run in the summer! The amphitheatre is glorious, however Lots of nice places to eat - including a restaurant with a name sounding like Olive in the main square. Don't forget to visit Julliet's balcony!

"Beautiful Hotel Stay Away When Hot"
This hotel is unique in its furnishings, but the air conditioning is old and designed to only cool the outside air by 7-10 degrees F. Thus when it is above 90, your room will be close to 80 inside. I had to purchase an auxiliary electric fan in order to sleep. Perhaps the culture in Verona is accustomed to that, but the hotel could upgrade their air conditioning. Also, getting ice is like begging. They frown when you ask for more as they apparently do not have efficient ice makers. The Hotel Restauarant serves a delicious breakfast the menu for lunch is too expensive; salad and entree at $32 euros; with drinks your check will average more than $40 euros. The staff tried to overcome the situation by apologizing but they cannot overcome the hotel's management decisions to keep their profits instead of up-dating this facility. With the amount they charge, they could invest in some capital expenses and keep the guests happier. My wife and I hope to return but not during the summer.

"Very conveniently situated for the Arena"
Parking was a problem, as is everywhere in Verona. We parked in the hotel's underground car park a few minutes walk away. The hotel itself is very comfortable and the staff are very helpful and spoke good English.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Azzano, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Azzano hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
