"Close to downtown Zurich"
Hotel is very close to downtown via street car. Main train station is also 1 street car ride away. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Has a full gym with pool and hot tub, wonderful large breakfast buffet, helpful staff, Bar & Restaurant onsite. My queen room on the 5th floor was not on the street side, so I can say the room was quiet and comfortable. Was nice to have coffee and tea in room, Only request would be, another type of pillow, vs feather. I would stay here again. I had no problem getting from Zurich main train station to the hotel, just the #3 street car. And the grocery market is right next door.

"Nice apartment with great location"
Very easy walk from the train station along the river to the apartment. Cell phone a must to call management to get keys. Quiet. Felt safe. Food and drink nearby. Lake and train close. Sights nearby. Nice IKEA furnishings, clean. Price was good for central Zurich. I was satisfied.

"Scary or Fun"
One of the lowest priced hotels I found and directly in the city of Zurich. Despite it having a bit of an older, worn feel, I was unexpectedly surprised by the fact that everything was as clean as it could be. No air-conditioning, though, so the room forces you to open the windows to the outside, which brings the "active city-life right into your bed." Literally, there's music, noise, traffic, people, and night-life directly outside, including some, ehem, so-called "businesses" which earn their profits, um, working the streets. Very convenient if you want to step outside of the hotel and walk right into a dozen caberet clubs, or, be near the train station. Not quite recommended for the very faint-of-heart, but if you're comfortable walking the streets of a big city at night, well, the, um, "sightseeing" might be something interesting and entertaining (I'm not talking about seeing churches and museums). The breakfast included with my room rate was surprisingly good (the lobby is small and not necessarily inviting, so you don't have a tendency to sit there for a long time, but the bread, the croissants, the meats, the cheeses, the coffee, the juice, the jellies, etc. were all there, and despite the simplicity, everything tasted great. I would have no problems going back to this place because I thought it offered a great value at half the price of other budget hotels (even though nothing in Zurich seemed to be priced for one's normal budget). Note: scaredy-cats should stay away!

"A great hotel in Zurich"
This hotel is located a bit outside the city centre but still very close by. A short walk to the old town and train station, or easy to catch a tram. The room was a bit small but very clean and the bathroom was new and fresh. Helpful and friendly staff. Gave us a room early, before official check-in time. Breakfast was simple but good and wasn't a problem when we left very early on the last morning. We chose this hotel because it was relatively cheap and have had a great experience. Cool bars and restaurants in the surrounding neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

"Nice hotel, clean rooms and spacious for Europe!"
We had two rooms on the first floor, that were both reasonably spacious for Europe. The reception staff were lovely and welcoming (even though very busy the morning we arrived), and were very informative about local attractions and facilities. We were very happy here - it was clean and in a great location with nearby supermarkets which have very good meals, which are cheaper than a lot of the restaurants nearby. Switzerland is very expensive, so we found supermarket food very good. Breakfast in the hotel is CHF29 - although it is a good breakfast it is expensive, better to try one of the local cafes. Plenty of hat water and very comfortable beds. It is about a 30minute ride from the airport (depending on traffic) and costs about CHF60. It is cheaper to catch the train and connect to the NO 3 Tram, but you need to know stops etc. No much help if you are carrying a bit of luggage! Don't forget that everything is closed on Sunday in Europe, and also there are no washing facilities in the hotel or nearby, there are some laundromats in Zurich but also are not open on a Sunday.

Aussersihl is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Aussersihl, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Aussersihl hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
