The first thing that impressed me about this hotel was the lobby. It was large, open, modern, and just a pleasant place to enter. The staff was excellent, even giving me a recommendation for a company that delivered my dinner. The only real negative here was that I like my early morning coffee, and the only coffee packet in the room was decaf.

The hotel was under construction, which we were not aware of when we booked. It did alter the comfort of our stay, but Sandy at the front desk was kind and generous and did all that she could to make it better. She truly saved the experience for us! As far as the hotel goes, it is close to the airport, safe, and near restaurants. When the construction is finished, I would be happy to return.

We've stayed at pretty bad hotels in the past (we are frugal people), but this hotel was satisfying across the board. We didn't have to deal with the staff at all, so I can't comment on that. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were great and nothing seemed cheap or lackluster. The best part about our stay was the continental breakfast, it was something we looked forward to every morning. Eggs, waffles, bacon, all the good stuff. Overall, this hotel did it's part by not giving us any reason to dislike it, thus tainting our vacation.

Although it is one of Colorado’s largest cities, Aurora is best known as a Denver suburb. This area includes Stapleton, Denver’s former airport. Stapleton has been redeveloped into an urban neighborhood with a traditional Main Street, shops, and a farmer’s market. Aurora’s other highlights include Buckley Air Force Base and the Plains Conservation Center, an 1,100-acre plant and wildlife preserve.
