I was pleased by the bed and could sleep in it, but my wallet was missing for about two hours and all the money was gone. Needless to say, I did not tip the staff, as I belief the cash was jacked when they found it.

Super impressed with this hotel. We were here 4 nights so we got to know it well. Very quiet, incredibly nice staff, beautifully decorated public areas & rooms- although I wish there was more storage in the room. There were only 3 drawers in the dresser, 2 of which were small, plus 2 side table drawers which are only big enough for tiny things. A larger dresser could easily fit under the TV stand. In the bathroom, there were only 2 hooks next to the tub and one towel rack by the toilet. The back of the door really needs hooks added to it.
The on-site restaurant, Borealis, is better than most hotel restaurants, great freebie toiletries, wonderful bed and pillows- seriously what are their mattresses?! I want one in my house!
Unfortunately, the parking situation is dumb and confusing. There's a garage next door but it's not owned by the hotel and not physically attached to the hotel. We had gorgeous spring-like weather when we were there, but in the hot summer months (yes Denver gets hot. It's a dry heat, but it's still heat) or the snow, walking back and forth would be an annoying little trek. Plus it's $12/day to park there. Ugh. There is valet, but it's of course even more expensive. The valets and bellhops are absolutely wonderful though- they didn't mind us parking in the front driveway at the entrance for a few minutes to unload and pick up/drop off luggage and people.
It's a fairly new, absolutely spotlessly clean and beautiful hotel, but because it's so new my poo

I was able to check into my room early, and it was very spacious. Starting with the bed that was firm, not hard, but comfortably firm. The pillows, there were 5 on the bed, all were similar to overstuffed down pillows. They were fluffy and soft and my head melted into them. The internet was suitably fast for streaming YouTube and Netflix, as well as the standard email checks. In the morning the shower had both flow volume and pressure. I have found that it is usually one or the other in most places but this was the best hotel shower I can remember in recent memory. The restaurant was alright, but I wasn't terribly impressed. The food was good and not overpriced, but it just seemed lacking. The selection was limited and the staff, while friendly, seemed distracted. Personal conversations were conducted, not quietly, and near the seating area.

Have stayed at both Aurora North and South properties. Like night and day. North much nicer, cleaner, and felt safer with inside room entrances and better exterior lighting. Excellent frontdesk staff. Walking distance for several very good eating places. Appliances clean and working. Can't recommend South property for anything.

Although it is one of Colorado’s largest cities, Aurora is best known as a Denver suburb. This area includes Stapleton, Denver’s former airport. Stapleton has been redeveloped into an urban neighborhood with a traditional Main Street, shops, and a farmer’s market. Aurora’s other highlights include Buckley Air Force Base and the Plains Conservation Center, an 1,100-acre plant and wildlife preserve.
