Stopped here for the night on the way to Salem, OR. Didn't want to spend much for the night but wanted to be in a descent hotel. Since it was the off-season for the area, this hotel had a really cheap rate offer. Hotel was almost totally vacant which was somewhat erie since it is fairly large and included a conference center in it. Room was dated (like going back to the seventies) but in really good shape. There was three of us that shared the room and there was plenty of space for everyone to move around, take shower, use mirror, use sink, etc. which was really nice. Bed slept well and since it is off the freeway a little ways, noise was nonexistent. The one bad thing about hotel was the next mornings breakfast - worse breakfast ever! Oatmeal was paste, no bacon or sausage, only hard boiled eggs (whole or chopped up) and coffee cups held a large shot glass of lukewarm weak coffee in them.
Other than breakfast situation and the fact that nobody was at the front desk to check us out when we had to leave. I would rate this hotel as a very good value for the money.

We were driving thru Ashland and needed a hotel. Found this online and loved it. Staff was really friendly and the rooms were very clean and well appointed. They were pet friendly and offered a delicious breakfast. Would stay again if have the opportunity.

We were returning from a trip to Az and decided to spend the night in Ashland. We selected the Holiday Inn Express because we always have comfortable stays at these hotels. We were not disappointed here! The place was everything we expected. The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was wonderful and our stay was relaxing. The breakfast was great, too. That's all anyone could ask for. Not sure how anyone could rate this hotel low. Our experience was first rate.
