Good hotel, but a bit outdated. Breakfast has no choice. Only buffet and it is less attractive.

"Expected more for the price"
Part of the reason we forked over so much cash to stay here was because of the amazing amenities. We were traveling with four young children and were excited to take advantage of the pool, driving range, arcade, kids' play room, etc. But the operational hours were very limited. The pool and fitness facilities and kids' room didn't open until 9am. Nine A.M.!!?? Check out is at 11! Most kids I know are awake around 6am. Soooo... that was a lot of time to kill until we were able to use the pool and play in the kids' room and then we had to hurry and pack to leave and catch our shuttle back to the train station. It's a beautiful hotel with gorgeous views and very courteous and helpful staff who spoke acceptable English. The buffet breakfast was excellent. But the spa was mediocre compared to other hot spring baths around Japan. If we hadn't paid so much perhaps my expectations wouldn't have been so high, but we were a bit disappointed by the limited access to amenities. If we're ever back in the Odawara area I think we'll opt for a different hotel, perhaps Okada (it has a gorgeous spa).

"Clean hotel but small. Still comfort for stay."
Hotel people are nice and helpful. The lady from Okada showed us the map and explain clear how to reach Hakonemori, which is hiden behine and need to walk up some steps to reach this small hotel. The hot spring was nice but we arrived in a rainy day which affect the comfort of using it outdoor. In general, it is a good experience.

Hakone Hotel

"Scenic views and fine food"
This hotel is at the edge of Lake Ashi in the scenic Hakone region, really has the best views of any hotel in the area. Rooms are large and somewhat modernized (plenty of power outlets and excellent wifi service). The staff speaks enough English to deal with tourists. The hotel runs three shuttles a day from the train station (40 minutes) or you can take the local bus (1 hour). The food is excellent in the hotel restaurants. I had the hot bath all to myself one evening, very relaxing. A good value with the Expedia rates and Hakone is quieter and less tacky than the other towns in the area.

Ashigarashimo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ashigarashimo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ashigarashimo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
