The Novotel Brisbane Airport because of its location, is not only a very good transit hotel, it's a very good hotel - full stop.
When you get a friendly fast check in at 1am, that's a good hotel. The rooms are large, well equipped and the beds are excellent.
The all day restaurant, bar and café are there with good stuff whenever you need it. And oddly, whilst it's right next door to the Airport, it's much quieter than most city hotels.
I've stayed a few times now and it has one other magical quality - consistency.
That's not just a transit hotel.

In summary - one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Most notable - the Lambert restaurant buffet breakfast, room amenities and inclusions, staff friendliness and customer service, the rooftop bar Eagles Nest.
We booked and stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. We stayed in the 1 bedroom king room.
First impression upon entering the hotel was the friendliness of the staff - and it continued all throughout our stay.
Do not be put off by the worn and aged door to your room. Inside our room was clean and complete with leather couch, living room foxtel tv, bedroom tv, king bed with pillow options, 2 air-cons, spacious bathroom and a fantastic view of the city and the Brisbane river from our balcony.
I cannot encourage people enough to include in their hotel booking the Lamberts breakfast buffet. It is honestly the best buffet breakfast I have ever had . Quality food you'd expect from a top restaurant. From sourdough bread, to your choice of eggs cooked as you request, fresh fruits, and many many other options. I will include pictures to this review of the extensive food choices.
On one occasion we booked in advance the free shuttle service to the Brisbane CBD and the shuttle was cancelled after we booked but the staff on shift kindly organised a taxi for us. We did not request this and would've caught a bus but were very pleased and thankful for this courtesy.
If we were to visit Brisbane in the future we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights in a deluxe twin room. We both flew to Brisbane and got the airtrain to Roma St. The hotel was literally minutes from the station. The rooms were large with great views of the city. To our surprise the twin beds were both double bed size, and very comfy. We had a nice meal in the Nest restaurant our first night, and Southbank and the Mall are close enough to walk to for shopping, dining and cultural precinct. We would recommend hotel Jen.

The hotel is relative easy to find even though this is the first time we are driving in Brisbane. Upon check in, there a welcome drink and the staff gave me some ideas where i can explore and walk about. She also inform us that there is a also a free shuttle bus to queens street which is ideal. because we don;t have to shop around. Room is comfortable and BIG! enjoyed our stay!

We had The Executive Suite at the Capri and found the room to be absolutely wonderful, spacious, clean, modern. It had all the amenities you could ever need, eg washing machine, coffee machine king size beds.
The staff were most helpful and very polite.
