A beautiful place to relax. 'Millhouse' is a Very lovely restaurant with passionate and knowledgeable staff. Housekeeping people were great too.
The front desk didn't seem very attentive, there were a couple of new trainees working with Experienced ones - it was very slow;
The guy working at fitness Centre wasn't friendly or polite at all, he seemed just not 'interested', the girls were lovely though.

We arrived for a 3 night stay in Arrowtown. We were welcomed by Jeanette who showed us a local map of the area and kindly explained what was where, she then took us to our room.
Wow! The room was beautiful, and I would say the photos on TA don't give it enough justice. We were very impressed, absolutely everything you could need is there. The furnishings are quality, a super king size comfortable bed, kettle with a variety of tea and coffee making facilities, with a mini fridge and best of all some out of this world delicious home baked cookies - OMG!
Plenty of light sockets, room fan and out door seating which can be accessed from the room balcony overlooking a lovely established garden. Jeanette and Steve have thought of everything to provide their guests with all the comforts, not forgetting free unrestricted wifi. In the foyer there are picnic back pack bags in case the mood takes, umbrellas, DVDs, magazines and board games. Complimentary fresh fruit, and home baked muffins, even a pair of binoculars in the room and pen, paper and envelopes should you need them. There was even a bedside torch just in case!
The room has a small mini bar, and microwave with cutlery and utensils. Best of all there is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, discreetly located in a cupboard, along with an iron and ironing board. Jeanette and Steve kindly provided a couple of sachets of wash powder too.
The bathroom is large and spac

First time staying at a 'private hotel' and really enjoyed it. Best of both the B&B and regular hotel worlds. Very nice and accommodating host, great breakfast selection being brought to your room (so none of the communal B&B awkwardness). Great attention to detail in the units. And awesome location with great views.

Spent a very pleasant night at The Lodge. First class accommodation, Ewell presented and spotless. High end bedding and other linen. Lovely heated external area to sit out in even when their was a chill in the air.
Breakfast was good and it was nice to sit with other guests and chat
Access to the rooms from car parking could present a challenge to anybody with serious mobility issues, although I am sure help would have been given with luggage if requested
Only niggle is that Wifi limited to 500mb. Although additional tokens were provided when asked it should be unlimited, in keeping with much cheaper accommodation we stayed (in Arrowsmith) the previous night
