Although not too easy find (located in a commercial business park) was in a secure location and ideal for a stopover. Staff were very helpful and spoke English and even understood my French. Room was very clean and facilities were good. Restaurant/bar area was pleasant and could also sit outside. Meals were a good standard and plenty of choice for breakfast. The downside was that it was a drive into the main town and it wasn't easy to find the nearest supermarket/hypermarket for petrol and a few groceries.

Went by previous reviews and the fact the hotel is Holiday Inn Express and stayed in their hotels in the UK. The french version was different though, lower standard but good enough. Good location and parking close by but this is chargeable. Our two night stay for parking cost between €10 and €12 per night for around 12 plus hours.
The hotel is close to the railway, which could be heard especially with the window open but did not cause an issue.
The town and area were great, people were lovely and everywhere was very clean.

Arras is justifiably famous for its two stunning town squares. These opulent spaces speak of Arras's history as a major trading center: the town hall is a fine example of 16th century Flemish gothic architecture. La Place des Héros has a bustling Christmas market and the citadel plays host to the Main Square music festival every summer. Many visitors come to pay their respects at the Vimy Memorial.
