"Kiwi MyStays Experience "
the rooms are a bit small but still big enough for a cramped yet good enough stay. The best part is the location with a 5 minute walk to Nippori Station and 1.2km walk to Ueno Park.

"Excellent Service, Great Staff, Fun Theme!"
As a lover of manga, the library of books was fantastic! when your bored of reading there is still lots to do inside the hotel itself, while being walk away from many exciting Tokyo locations! my favorite spot was the rooftop terrace while i could enjoy the sun and do some reading! Thanks Wasabi Guest House, i cant wait to come back!

"Lovely little hotel. Cozy and comfortable."
I loved the friendly staff who gave us recommendations. It was a really easy checkin. Facilities were clean but a little bit cramped for my tastes. But it was great for the price~! Would recommend :)

"3 nights stay "
My wife and myself stayed in this hotel for the second time. The hotel is clean and near to 3 train lines which is very convenient. It is also near to convenience store and restaurants. Train noise can heard in the room which is quite disturbing when you trying to sleep. Overall the stays were still satisfactory.

"Great place"
Very friendly staff, nice room with kitchen, good bathroom and comfortable beds. We booked very last minute and did not have lots options, but we were very happy with the place. Close to the metro and city center, grocery store right next to it.

"An adventure. Highly recommended but basic accomm"
I really enjoyed staying in this guesthouse. Ramshackle and quaint, don't expect any mod cons (or air cons), and it's a very good idea to book in early and check the place out first. Not a good place to stay after or before a long flight, but a good, cheap base to explore Tokyo. The owners are very nice, but often overworked servicing the building (they perform all their own repairs and renovations). I electrocuted myself on a light switch here (I thought it was funny and didn't tell the owners) so keep your wits about you and treat the place as if you were staying with a relative. Very nice roof top garden and an easy-going feel to the place. Privacy is a bit of a concern at times in the bathrooms (some gaps in the walls which can be seen through - although everyone is very respectful). Overbooking occurs at times, so again, make sure you turn up early and are happy with your room. I would stay here again (I stayed for a week and was happy with the experience) and would recommend it to my friends. Just make sure you don't expect too much. It is not a hotel by any stretch.

Arakawa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Arakawa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Arakawa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
