We have stayed at this property several times, but this is the first time since the remodel. The removal of the old carpeting was much needed. The wood floors are nice. My only suggestion is better lighting for reading at night. Older people need more light. I put my book right under the light on the nightstand and still wasn't able to read. Overall good breakfast. The first day they had hardboiled eggs and English muffins but days 2 and 3 there weren't any. Disappointing.

My husband and I booked this hotel for a last minute "stay-cation" and we couldn't have loved it more! It's charming features of decor, friendly hotel staff, and beautiful rooms will have us coming again soon. We also had dinner at the restaurant on site, which was very delicious. The pool area is lovwly, with a pool, spa and sauna. We intend to book a spa service the next time we stay, as they have many to choose from. Well worth the price for such a lovely getaway!!

The room was fine but it might be time to change the mattress. I've slept on more comfortable. I did have a problem with the coffee pot and alerted the front desk. She was very pleasant and said she would see to it. Overall the visit was good.

My room was neat, clean, well arranged. I noticed the bed sheets were soft and almost warm when I slipped in between them. I relaxed and sank into the bed and was asleep within in minutes. It was an easy room to move about in, and the desk afforded ample space for me to do my morning writing and organizing for the day. Everything about it had a homey touch to it, just the way the pillows were arranged on the bed, the two comfortable cushioned chairs to sit and watch the television in, the pasteries set out to have with the morning coffee.

Stayed here and took BART in Pleasanton into SF to see a show at the Orpheum Theater. Very pleased with the hotel. Comfortable bed, quiet, nice decor. Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, waffle maker. We would definitely stay again.

Antioch is an East Bay suburb about 44 miles from San Francisco. Established in 1850, it is one of the oldest towns in California. The Spanish-style El Campanil Theatre, located along the waterfront in downtown Antioch, opened in 1928. Roy Rogers and his horse, Trigger, are those who have performed there. The city-owned Antioch Marina is on the south side of the San Joaquin River.
