The hotel is beautiful and the setting gorgeous. However there is No air conditioning in the room. Also The electricity went out in our room in the middle the night and the problem was not addressed in a timely manner. The plugs were difficult to attach our adapters to and some never did work. The breakfast buffet was way too expensive so we opted not to use it.

Nice hotel, in an excellent location for exploring the old town. Breakfast very expensive but local shopping centre just round the comer provided a cheaper option. The hotel is located above the train station. We weren't able to open a window for fresh air due to safety of being above the track, which meant the room did get very hot and stuffy overnight (temperature control in room didn't work well). Helpful and friendly staff. Expensive onsite parking not included in room price.

The hotel is simply clean, right in the middle of town, and efficient. The furniture is of ikea quality at best, so lots of pock marks on the table tops because of water damage, but frankly barely visible - this isn't a hotel you hang out at anyway.

Nice view of lake from room. Room had everything we required, was clean and comfortable.
Ample safe parking. Efficient check-in staff, lift, good breakfast that could be eaten outside.
Could walk to Annecy main town for restaurants etc along lakeside, enjoying views. Easy flay walk for reasonably fit people. Best of both worlds.

On the northern tip of Lake Annecy about 35 kilometres north of Geneva, this picturesque French city dates back to the 10th century. Because of its long history, Annecy is loaded with historical buildings and cathedrals. Among the most popular tourist attractions are the 12th-century Palais de I’Isle (a jail), Pont des Amours (Lovers Bridge), and the European Gardens.
