We stayed for a midweek break.
The hotel looked lovely on arrival and the welcome was very nice.
All the staff were excellent.
The room was clean and the facilities were well kept.
The only faults were the price of the food and drinks and the lack of communal lounge/ terrace to sit and relax.

Staff are really friendly, and the hotel is lovely, but restaurant was a little overpriced, and transport links to get ANYWHERE were abysmal. Even if the hotel had invested in a fleet of bikes for customers to hire, it would have vastly increased my enjoyment of my stay.

If you wish to be based in the old centre of Annecy, the location of these apartments couldn't be better. We woke up on Tuesday morning to find a wonderful locals market full of delicious fare to taste. You also have coffee and bakery shops plus many good restaurants right on the doorstep. A leisurely walk to the lake side is 5 minutes. The one thing you don't have is lake views but on this occasion we didn't mind. It was 2 weeks before Christmas and we were more interested in being in the thick of things! The apartment we had was No 5 - a triple floored suite that sleeps 6 (two double beds and one large sofa bed). The gas fire was very welcome, as was the coffee machine, milk frothing machine, fridge, dish washer etc. The apartment is small but beautifully formed with beams in the ceiling and lovely wooden fittings. The heating was very efficient as you can control it yourself. There is a shower & hammam in the main bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom.

We had room with a balcony that was luxurious and comfortable. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. The hotel overlooks Lac Annecy and the bike path and is a short walk to Vieille Annecy along the lake. This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to relax and recover after daily bike rides to the south around the the Semnoz and the Lake.

On the northern tip of Lake Annecy about 35 kilometres north of Geneva, this picturesque French city dates back to the 10th century. Because of its long history, Annecy is loaded with historical buildings and cathedrals. Among the most popular tourist attractions are the 12th-century Palais de I’Isle (a jail), Pont des Amours (Lovers Bridge), and the European Gardens.
