I had a wonderful stay! I selected a suite with a fireplace and it did not disappoint. The room was larger than anticipated, clean, and the fireplace heated up the room nicely. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, as we only stayed a single night, but they were quite pleasant and accommodating at check in.

Hotel was comfortable with a great staff. I liked the voucher process of getting breakfast at a restaurant in the same parking lot. The hotel location off the main road was quiet but the rooms could use a bit more sound insulation. The usual firm beds which we appreciate. It looks like they are in the process of remodeling so it will be better in the future.

"Nice hotel close to Railtown, shopping and food."
We enjoyed our brief stay at this older but well cared for property. Centrally located between Railtown and downtown, we found the hotel quant and well cared for with a nice pool and clean and comfortable rooms ... some with whirlpools in the rooms!

The quiet little town of Angels Camp is nestled in the Sierra foothills between Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, on California’s scenic “Golden Chain” Highway 49. Founded in 1848, the town was a booming mining town between 1880 and 1920. Many of the original buildings from the mid-1800s still line Main Street. The Calaveras County Fair, famous for its Jumping Frog Jubilee, is just outside of town.
