We only stayed for one night, but after arriving in the afternoon we still had time to walk around the old city. The rooms are tiny, but very efficient and clean. I wouldn't want to stay too many days, but for an overnight or so it was perfect. Breakfast and parking are additional charges, and both are worth it.

Golden Tulip is conveniently located at the end of the main shopping street and short walk to Caldea SPA. The hotel is quite modern and very clean. Soft fluffy towels but no body lotion. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Only when asked to call back to confirm anything, wouldn't do so. Probably too busy, but all requests fulfilled. Breakfast is ok. Free coffee and some snacks provided in the lobby. Transfers to the ski lifts are available, but the bookings are total waste of time - the drive (very nice) but speaks no English and has no list of bookings. So you could just turn up and take a seat, i.e. first come first served basis. There are ski lockers in the garage.
Overall, enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Stayed 3 days in March 2016 with my family of four (husband and two little girls) in a room with 4 beds.
What I liked:
Location: superb! walking distance to the pedestrian main shopping street and Caldea Spa.
Parking: despite the price (18 euros per day), having only one way (to get in and out, they changed the outside sign to warn if it is an exit or an entry) and the maneuver you need to do to get in. It was a great asset to have a secured parking in Andorra. Those who rent a car must figure this out before going there, for Peace of Mind, try to get a hotel with parking, this hotel fulfill this requirement, only for that I would recommend it.
Not so good:
It just confirmed that some Europeans Hotels quality in touristic places do not match the starts assigned. They don’t care to maintain that status since they’ll get customers anyways. That’s translates into nice entrances & lobbies and having the rest of the facility outdated and/or poor maintained; generally screaming out loud for a renovation. In the case of Tulip Delfos the room phone was at least 15 years old, which I wouldn’t mind if it worked, it did not. Room furniture and bedding clean and working conditions, by totally outdated; Restroom kind of the same, on the positive side: water had the perfect cleanliness, pressure and temperature, towels were sufficient and ok.
Just in the middle:
Most of the personnel were kind, the parking employee was actually very amusing and warm; however few were not polite, a guy on t

It was a last minute decision to stay overnight in Andorra La Vella. It was late afternoon, I decided to book this hotel based on other good reviews and the very good price. This hotel did not disappoint. It is clean, modern and the breakfast buffet and on-site restaurant was very good. We even decided to extend our stay by one day since the wife liked the shopping in the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Andorra la Vella draws tourists as ski destination, with many winter sports resorts an easy bus ride away. Après-ski, indulge in retail therapy at Andorra's many duty-free shops. The picturesque cobblestones and Romanesque architecture of the Old Town are easily explored on foot, and visitors should tour the ancient churches, parliament building, and Government Exhibition Hall and adjacent piazza.
