"Handy for Wine Tours and 6 Flags."
Welcomed with a warm cookie and looked after well. Bar 29 food was good with big portions and good value. Breakfast there is also good but expensive unless you plan to load up and not eat again until dinner. There is a coffee shop nearby you can walk to 'Roberto's' if you want. Lagoon area is attractive and good to sit out if it's hot.

Pocket Guide: Napa Valley American Canyon Hotels

American Canyon sits at the southern entrance to Napa Valley, between Vallejo and Napa. Vineyards on the rolling hills foretell the world-class wineries to the north. Largely residential, the city also attracts winemaking industries such as cooperages and cork producers. To the south, Vallejo has its own attractions, such as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom theme park and a foot ferry to San Francisco.
