We stayed 15 days in France and this was our favorite hotel.. Room was exceptional staff was fantastic with excellent Wifi and Free Parking. We just loved this hotel. This is 5 stars plus..
Now the downside.. The Parking is horrible. You need to almost be a stunt driver to even get into the gate of the hotel. A sub compact barely fits. I suggest they somehow expand the parking so the cars easily fit into the gate and lot.

The facilities are nice and a good value for what you pay. Beds are very comfortable for the main bed but the sofa pullouts are a different story. The bathroom had a stench from the drains. This seems to be a fairly common in Europe. Overall good experience. Please note that this location is not within walking distance to the old town section of Amboise.

This was a perfect location for us - very quiet and about a 10 minute walk from the town center. They had free parking that was locked at night. The room was small, bathroom was large with lots of storage space. The staff was VERY, VERY helpful. Heater in the room was easy to operate.

My husband and I recently stayed there. We arrived at La Vinci from Paris, both of us totally wiled out from a sleepless night with traveller's grunge. I needed to connect with family in Vernou, and was too dingy to deal with international calling on my cell. Hotel staff was very helpful and kind- helped me make the necessary connections, and our first- time meetings with my French family went beautifully.

Very pleasant small hotel operated by very nice people. We were greeted warmly as we arrived in early evening. Lobby is not always staffed, but an access code allows ingress/egress from hotel 24/7. Rooms were simple, but very functional. Wireless internet was intermittent, but router was in hallway and convenient to "reset" to restore operation. Parking was free, but about 1 block away.

Took a while to find hotel. but when we got there found it was a good ,comfortable, clean hotel. We would have liked to explore Amboise but we were too far out of the town. It would be nice to have local transport into the town.
We had the evening meal and breakfast. Both were very nice, possibly overpriced.
Our experience was a good one and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Lying in the valley of Loire in central France, Amboise is a small market town on the banks of the river. Leonardo da Vinci once lived in the area and Clos Lucé, the manor house in which he stayed, is now a museum dedicated to the artist. The imposing Chateau d'Amboise looks on the town below and is worth a visit; the panoramic views from the gothic grounds are stunning.
