"A very nicely presented hotel, excellent staff."
We stayed for a week in January 2016. We booked a superior room which was spacious, well decorated with good facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location in the resort. Bus stopped outside.

"Good budget option, but lacks supplies in room"
We were 3 guys looking for cheap accommodation and this worked out well. The hotel and room were clean, and are very close to the lifts and supermarket, which is great. There is an ample kitchen which is good for avoiding high restaurant costs. Only thing letting it down is the lack of supplies in the room. There was only 1 mug for example, and you only get 1 toilet roll/bin bag for your stay. You have to buy the rest, which makes it uneconomical for a short stay. No tea towels, scourers or washing up liquid either. There is a coffee machine, but you have to buy your own filters.

Great! We took our two children who loved it, made friends while they were there. Seems to be popular with families and children. The ski in ski out appeal didn't work for us as the slope into the hotel is a steep blue slope. But skiing out of the hotel was fine.

"Good budget hotel in great location for cycling"
Stayed 4 nights for a cycling holiday. Staff didn't speak English but were very friendly and helpful and hotel was very clean. For a budget hotel the facilities were fine with very reasonable buffet breakfast. Apart from the very close road cycling routes & climbs there is not much nearby - a lorry park opposite the hotel didn't cause any problems with noise or traffic. Bed was fine and shower good (better than many 4 star hotels!) - no bath available.

"Suitable for some, consider carefully. "
The location of the hotel is the key to whether you will be happy with you're choice of Mecure 1800. It is in 1800 which is almost a separate resort to the main strip with all the bars and resturants. So if your after nightlife then choose somewhere more central. The complex the hotel is in is a little tired but I couldn't fault the staff or the hotel itself. Your access to the lifts (main 1800 lift) is a short walk away, I'm sure in main season you could ski back with a little off piste. There is a bus service which runs to the main village which is a must as otherwise it's a 20 minute walk and uphill on the way back. So if your staying here you really want half board as otherwise your evening options are less than convienent and the hotel charge a premium as your cut off from the competition. If you have a car then none of that is a problem and more of a benefit, u can choose to see as little or as much of the lively centre as you please. Parking for our friends car we found nearby for free. (Not sure if that was due to being end of season). If you can get an all inclusive package and you are happy with the location then I think this hotel is still w good option. The benefit of its location are the views from the breakfast area and that most of the resort can be accessed quickly from the 1800 lift which we found quieter than the others. Do your research and think carefully about this one, sounds obvious but at least you will know what to expect and won't be disappointed.

"great place for alpine escape"
perfect staff, very hospitable and nice . beautiful mix of modern, alpine , and french esthetic. Our room , apparently one of the last was very small, but it seems others were larger. one drawback was no gym, but ski shop downstairs was excellent. Spa nice but a bit small for the christmas crowd. would gladly return with hopes of larger room at lower rate by reserving in advance and not last minute

"Nice hotel, friendly staff but basic."
Nice, small hotel, friensly staff, rooms quite basic though. Beds quality not very good. Didn't seem to be a 3 star hotel. We only been there for 2 nights and it serve the purpose. I Don't think we would book it if stayed longer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Alpes du Nord hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
