I love the location. Easy to get to from the airport. There are a few quality restaurants close by. Shuttle will take you to King street for access to bars, trendy shops, and tons of restaurants. The staff is always pleasant at this hotel. It is close to 3 grocery stores. Two of them are high end with great fruit selections.

Have experienced this hotel a few times. The hotel staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Cozy hotel. Roomy rooms kept well and and included a respectable breakfast ( incl. fruit, eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, and other foods)

This struck me as an older hotel which the basic amenities of days gone by. There is nothing wrong with this. There was no fitness necessary and no hotel restaurant. What was interesting, however, is that the hotel has a relationship with the local IHOP adjacent to the hotel so your breakfast was on the house (up to a certain number of guests, I believe). Although I did not have the time to take advantage, I thought this was super cool.
In addition, I had one complaint concerning the behavior of the hotel guest in the room adjacent to me. The hotel acknowledged my concern and offered me a credit to compensate for my temporary discomfort. I thought this was great business move.

Eminently walkable, Old Town Alexandria offers a glimpse of early America through its 4,000 historic homes and businesses. Many visitors begin their tour at the Ramsey House Visitors Center, near the center of Old Town. One highlight is The Athenaeum art gallery, a Greek Revival structure where legendary Civil War Gen. Robert E. Lee once banked. Don’t miss Mount Vernon, George Washington’s estate.
