"High end hotel in Old Town Albuquerque"
The hotel staff, front desk, especially, is outstanding! Very helpful, available at all times, no wait. About the room: Forgot at times to give me fresh water glasses and fresh coffee mugs. Lighting is dim, no overhead light option. The TV has a limited choice of channels and has no guide. I wanted MSNBC and BBC and they were not available. The restaurant is okay, good service. Food uneven, but there is a terrific happy hour special, shrimp cocktail. I give it a 5!

"Nice old hotel in downtown "
We stayed one night here. The hotel lobby and other public areas are beautifully restored historic spaces. Our room was a little disappointing - very small, a little drab. The restaurant and rooftop bar are very nice. The location is a little dicey. A very run down area, a few homeless people sleeping in doorways a block from the hotel. I wouldn’t walk outside at night.

"Nice, no frills hotel in a good location"
I'd give the hotel 3.5 stars, but there is no way to do that. At check-in, my reservation (for which I had already paid) was incorrect but was quickly rectified. Front desk clerk didn't explain anything except where my room was situated. I had to call to ask about the laundry room and to explore to find other facilities. The cleaning staff were very nice and professional and the wait staff at the attached restaurant were great. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. TV had Showtime and lots of channels. I didn't find the chair comfortable. The room had a refrigerator but no extras. There was no free breakfast. Don't try to find free tea; there is no way to get it. I had four meals at the attached restaurant and enjoyed them all. Location, in the Old Historic district and close to the highway, was very good. It's a reasonable walk to museums, the zoo and the aquarium. I'd recommend the Natural Science museum. And, if you like mountains, drive up to the Sandia Crest. It's also near the beginning of a 16-mile walk/bike path.

"Cozy outdated hotel in average location"
Not something great to write home about. Clean and quiet room. Room feels like it needs an update via dated bedding, decor, etc. Average hotel for the money.

"Superb customer service!"
We had our flight cancelled at Albuquerque airport and quickly chose a place to stay for the night which was affordable. We were able to take a taxi to the hotel because the hotels shuttle driver was on her dinner break- and we got reimbursed on the spot. The front desk was incredibly and authentically friendly and helpful both at check in and check out. Highly recommend this hotel!

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
