"Great location"
We stayed for four days, our room was comfortable spacious and quiet. The location is great close to transport, shopping and tourist sites. The breakfast buffet is excellent. It's a great place to stay.

"Good Hotel; Excellent Breakfasts"
I stayed at Grand Hotel Wagner for five nights. The facilities are excellent. It may not look like a prime hotel from the outside (by American standards), but the view from the inside is quite different. Everything is first class. The interior is clean and very attractive; the rooms are (by European standards) spacious, and they are clean and well maintained. I booked quite early and got a reasonable price. If I returned to Palermo and could again get a decent price, I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast comes with the room, and I was extremely pleased with the variety of foods available (scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, a host of pastries, cheese, fresh fruit, juices). If you insist on something not on the breakfast buffet (e.g., fried eggs) you will have to pay extra, but there are enough choices on the buffet to permit any but the most particular to fill their bellies at no additional costs.

Have previously stayed here before, 2 years ago, quite happy to return, still excellent overall. Old city, good position especially for 'walkers'.

"Good hotel well located for Palermo attractions"
I would recommend the hotel. It is extremely well located for most of the main tourist attractions of Palermo. The room (for up to four people, using a well-sized double sofa bed in addition to a double bed) was comfortable with good cupboard space and a large bathroom. The central open courtyard was charming under a retractable roof which was rolled out to provide shade when the sun was directly overhead. The buffet breakfast was very good value.

"Basic but nice if you're a sound sleeper..."
On the plus side this hotel is beautifully situated in a very central location. The staff are pleasant. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is adequate. My single room was small and basic. It did have air conditioning, which was important in summer weather. The bed was not hugely comfortable but not impossible either. The worst part of it is that the walls are paper-thin, so that you can hear literally everything going on around you. If, like me, you're unlucky enough to have on the one side a couple who, after making love, have a conversation at the top of their voices at 3 am, while on the other side somebody is rearranging the furniture well into the night, then you're not going to catch much sleep. Add to that plumbing which means every time you flush the loo you get a roar like Niagara Falls (and the same, of course, when the rooms around you flush their loos) and the noise factor goes up a few notches. On balance I would say, if you're a light sleeper or not used to ear-plugs, avoid it. If you don't mind the noise, then the location alone makes up for a lot of the inconvenience

"Beautiful old hotel, a little bit worn. "
The villa igea is a gorgeous building set on beautiful grounds. Rooms could use a bit of an update, all feels a bit like the 80s. But it is incredibly charming. Most of the staff were terrific. Small downsides were that the free shuttle to town is often overlooked so you have to take a taxi (20 euros). Also the food and drink at the hotel itself are overpriced (12 euro for a bottle of beer and 21 euro for a club sandwich).

"Perfect spot for our stay with the nicest staff. "
Paulo and Antonella are the most gracious and helpful hosts you could ask for. The location was central to everything and the room were spacious and clean. The breakfasts consisted of fresh pastries and cold cuts and was a perfect start to each day.

Albergheria is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Albergheria, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Albergheria hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
