Very nice but small hotel, with nice touches - origami cranes and yukata waiting each day on the bed, clean facilities. The room is quite cramped, but is a great starting place to explore Akihabara's electronics/anime/cat cafes/maid cafes, and its also very convenient for Uneo Park with the Tokyo National Museum, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Uneo Zoo, National Museum of Nature & Science, and several temples and shrines.

Rotenburo was awesome and much needed after a long day in Tokyo. Night noodles were awesome! Overall a great, unique experience. Room was small but on the larger size for this level of hotel in Tokyo. Lots of amenities packed into a small space.

"New, Clean, Hotel with Great Transportation Access"
We were delighted with both the hotel and location! We will definitely come back to this one. Just a block off Akihabara, there was always plenty to do in close proximity, but it was also very quiet at night. The hotel looked brand new inside- either that or it had just been remodeled. Internet worked great.

Everything that we expected. Wifi was quite slow but other than that, it was fine. Rooms were turned down every day. Air con was great (during a really hot period in the middle of summer). Bed was comfortable enough.

"Not a bad stay to rest after a long day of walking"
Great little hotel, only 5 minutes walk from Asakusabashi train station. Quite a small room, but sufficient for those that spend most of their days out exploring. Plenty of convenience stores around (2mins walk), small supermarket (3mins walk), and located in a quiet peaceful suburb.

The place was new and clean. Reception staff was excellent and helpful. I purchased a train ticket for the airport for the wrong date and asked the receptionist if I would need to buy another ticket the day of. Without my asking, the receptionist offered to walk me to the subway station then spoke with the train station staff and got me a refund for the ticket.

Shoppers looking for the newest technical gadgets, DVDs, and videogames flock to Akihabara, Tokyo’s glittering “Electric Town.” The bustling streets around Akihabara Station house thousands of computer and electronics shops, several multi-floor classic arcades, and a giant seven-floor anime store. The area is popular with anime fans that crowd the streets on weekends wearing colorful costumes.
