The hotel itself is old and in need of a total renovation!! The staff, however are top notch. Friendly and helpful, always smiling and making you feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet included homemade banana fritters, nice touch. The location couldn't be better, park the car and walk to all the shops and restaurants you could want!!

My daughter and I stayed here on our way from Florida to Washington, DC. It was such a nice surprise! Personal touches like make-up remover cloths and friendly staff that went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome.
The outdoor terrace was attractive and inviting....wish we didn't have to get back on the road. We would have stayed for awhile!

We were just 30 beautiful miles from Augusta National Golf Course, had very comfortable rooms, happy hour from 5-6 each night and exceptionally gracious hosts and staff. They were as friendly as the Masters' staff. They even had a comfortable gazebo where we could smoke a cigar while sipping a beer. All of this at half the price of Augusta, GA options.
If Aiken had some satisfactory dining spots, it would have been perfect.
We plan to stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming and made arrangements for our very late night arrival. The room was lovely and well appointed. The common spaces were lovely and the complementary breakfast was very nice.
