"Seaside resort"
We stayed at the ACHAIA BEACH hotel late May 2014 for 4 nights while visiting family in Patras The hotel is in the outskirts of the city in a quieter suburb. Perfect for enjoying a peaceful few days away from the frenzy of the city. We had a seaside view that was breathtaking, the Greek mountains and the RIO bridge. The room was very comfortable ; they provide high quality toiletries ; shampoo, bath gel, soap etc. and a kettle for tea and coffee are available as well. The morning breakfast is good; hot and cold and enough to keep you going till 2.00 or 3.00 in the afternoon. They had yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, cold cuts, cereal etc. You are only 10 minutes away from the City Centre when you take the tram into town ; which arrives every hour. The cost is only 1.40 e cheap deal. I definetely would recommend this hotel to all friends and family. Excellent choice at a good price.

"Convenient & awesome breakfast & sunset patio"
Well signposted on entering Diakopto, welcoming hosts, comfortable & clean rooms with a little terrace that faced right into the sunset, which was a real treat. Breakfast was awesome - freshly made, healthy and delicious. Short walk around the corner for the train station. Shaded parking just around corner from rooms. Perfect!

"Amazing!"
Everything about this hotel was exceptional! The moment we walked through the door we were pampered; the young staff were incredibly competent. They led us to our lovely room, came back a little later with refreshments and offered excellant dinner and sight seeing advice. Our stay with them was wonderful but actually it was after we left that they was most amazing. We accidently left two jackets in the closet of our hotel room. The staff called us to inform us of the oversight and then offered to send us the jackets. We live in the U.S. and were not returning for another week. They held on to the jackets for another week and then had them mailed to us in Seattle. Incredible service!

"Nice hotel on the beach"
The hotel was new so the facilities were good and the location great. Although the beach it not can ideal place but overal the stay was pleasant. Though we had booked our 2 night stay through Expedia the hotel via Expedia sent us an email that they couldn't accommodate us for the first night. That was not professional at all considering there was availability on Expedia and everything in the area booked. So they offered us to stay at the next four hotel Tarandella which was terrible. I would have rated that -3.

"Worth the effort"
This was a unique setting, off the beaten path in Diakopte. The directions, while written in English, were difficult to follow, but the result was worth the effort. The former monastary grounds were beautifully landscaped. The rooms in the lovely, stone buildings were furnished tastefully. The evening meal, served in a great dining area, was a delicious buffet of traditional, Greek food. The wine, produced from grapes from the owner's fields, was quite good. Unfortunately, the pool was not available.

"Good location "
The location is fantastic. Close to shopping and many coffee bars as well as within walking distance to Patra Castle and many other monumental sites. The lobby is spectacular with georgeous decore but the room was plain and simple and not comparable to what the hotel exterior and lobby had to offer. The breakfast buffet was great with many selections of food-eggs, croissants, excusite pastries and fruits. The staff is great and overall experience was good. I would defiantly stay there again.

Achaea is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Achaea, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Achaea hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
