"Brilliant views of the port, clean & friendly staff"
One of the only hotels with a stunning pool in surrounding area, smack bang in the main port with gorgeous views of passing boats. Bars and restaurants all in walking distance Plus we walked to the local beach in 15mins too. Lovely large breakfast selection, friendly staff and very clean rooms. Only negative if the gym is tiny in comparison to the rest of the facilities so depends what you're after. All round amazing hotel in fab location

"Super close to the Old Port"
Great location really close to the Old Port, where much of the tourism in Marseille is based. The rooms are on the 4th floor and above so are quiet despite this good location (and are accessed by a small but perfectly functioning modern lift). We had a nice view looking up the avenue, and others will have views onto the Old Port. We went for one of their cheaper rooms, and the room was compact but had everything necessary including a good quality hairdryer. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good value hotel close to the tourist sites.

"Lovely hotel"
We enjoyed our four day stay. The hotel is close to everything as well as being on the bus route to the Old Port and the station. Nice pool area, comfortable room and very helpful front desk staff. The breakfast was simple, but okay.

"Great choice for a central base"
Really pleased with my stay at this hotel. The location is a perfect central base for exploring the city, just a 1 minute walk from the old port! Also very close to the metro station (30 seconds). For me the reception staff were the best and really made my stay comfortable. I arrived earlier than check in time due to a 7am flight, I wasn't expecting to have a room straight away and was quite happy to leave my luggage and go out out exploring however the receptionist said my room will be ready in 10 mins which was perfect and I was more than happy to wait. The staff were always very friendly and happy to help. You do have to leave your room key with them every time you leave the hotel which I did find quite strange but understandable as they are not keycards and are actual keys. My room was perfect for what I needed, I noticed other people found their rooms small but I paid a little extra for a superior room and it seems to do the trick as my room was huge, especially for a solo person. Everything was modern and super clean, I was actually sad to leave my room! One thing to note is that there is a lot of noise from the road outside and given it's location it is understandable but if you struggle to sleep with lots of noise, i would reccomend asking for a quieter room however I managed to sleep well! The breakfast was okay, not an amazing selection, especially for €12. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend!

"great staff"
this is a quaint hotel with lovely staff. The rooms are spacious with lovely decor. Breakfast is great with home made specialties from a local baker. We were only there one night due to family emergency but our one night was comfortable. I would say that for people who are not frequent travelers, the surrounding neighborhood may be a little unsettling compared to other parts of the city. However, that being said the hotel is a great place to stay with great staff. It is about a ten minute stroll to the waterfront and close to many restaurants. We would stay again if in Marseilles.

2nd Arrondissement is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in 2nd Arrondissement, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your 2nd Arrondissement hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
