Within 48 hours of booking, if you find a lower rate for an identical booking, we'll pay you the difference between the rates.
Things to know:

• The Low Price Guarantee applies to standard/retail and Hot Rate hotels booked on Hotwire.com. It does not apply to cruises, vacations, or other services.
• The lower rate you find must be available. Some sites display rates that are not actually available when you try to book. Rates that are only available to the members of certain groups (such as AARP, AAA, group rates, corporate rates, and convention rates) are not eligible for the Guarantee.
• The lower rate must be available to the general public.
• The lower rate you find must be in the same currency as your original reservation. We will not convert rates.
• Unless otherwise noted, all Low Price Guarantee refunds are made in the currency in which the bookings were made.
• For hotels, this Low Price Guarantee only pertains to the hotel rate exclusive of tax recovery charges and fees. When factoring in tax recovery charges and fees, we do not guarantee that the total amount you pay Hotwire will be lower than the total amount you might pay elsewhere.

Getting your refund is quick and hassle-free. To submit a Low Price Guarantee refund request:

• Contact Hotwire Customer Care at 0808 234 5903. Customer Care associates are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• You'll need to have the full details of the lower average nightly rate you've found to pass on to Hotwire Customer Care.
• The original claim will need to be filed within 48 hours of booking. Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the lower rate you found. After verifying the lower rate, we will issue a refund in an amount equal to the difference between your Hotwire rate and the lower rate.
• For Hotwire Hot Rate hotel bookings, the refund will be equal to the difference between your Hotwire nightly/daily rate and the lower nightly/daily rate for the total days of your booking. Expect your credit within 10 business days. The credit will be issued to the card you used for your Hotwire booking.
• For standard/retail hotel bookings, the refund will be equal to the difference between your Hotwire nightly/daily rate and the lower nightly/daily rate for the total days of your booking. Hotwire will verify that the Hotwire reservation in question has been completed without cancellation or refund for the date of the claimed booking. In the event Hotwire is not able to obtain from the travel supplier a breakdown of the nightly/daily, you may need to fax or email a copy of your bill to Hotwire. For transactions in which Hotwire has your credit card information and has issued charges against it, expect the credit within 10 business days. The credit will be issued to the card you used for your Hotwire booking. For transactions where Hotwire did not charge your credit card directly, expect either a refund on your card or a refund check to be issued within 14 days of Hotwire receiving validated proof of the completed Hotwire reservation. You may choose to receive Hotwire HotDollars in lieu of a refund, but must do so by calling 0808 234 5903 and meeting the Low Price Guarantee qualification criteria.

After you submit your request, you will know the outcome within 5-7 business days. If Hotwire can confirm the availability of the lower rate, your request will be approved, and Hotwire will issue you a refund in an amount equal to the difference between your booking's Hotwire rate and the other lower rate, per the guidelines of each specific product. If Hotwire cannot validate the lower rate, your request will be denied. If a refund is issued, your original reservation will not be cancelled. If Hotwire has a credit card on file for you and has issued charges against it, all refunds will be made within 10 business days after Hotwire confirms the availability of the lower rate. A credit will be issued to the card used for the Hotwire booking and those credits will be issued in the currency in which the original booking was made. For transactions where Hotwire did not charge your credit card, expect either a refund on your card or a refund check to be issued within 14 days of Hotwire receiving the validated proof of eligible, completed Hotwire reservations. You may be required to provide additional information in order to be eligible to receive a check, such as mailing address. All refund checks will be made in U.S. Dollars. You may choose to receive Hotwire HotDollars in lieu of a refund, but must do so by calling 0808 234 5903 and meeting the Low Price Guarantee qualification criteria.

Only one submission per itinerary will be accepted.

In order to verify the other rate's availability, Hotwire may request additional information from you including, without limitation, the URL address reflecting the lower price or the name of the travel representative that quoted the lower rate, and/or your address or contact information in order to confirm the availability of a refund.

The Low Price Guarantee applies only to non-qualified rates available to the general public for identical bookings. The Low Price Guarantee does not apply to membership, loyalty or points programs, corporate rates or special discounted rates including AAA, AARP, employee, military, government or convention rates. The Low Price Guarantee also does not apply to rates made available on Hotwire after your booking. Employees (including their families and persons residing in the same household) of Hotwire hotel partners are not eligible. Previously cancelled or refunded bookings/itineraries are also not eligible.

Hotwire reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Low Price Guarantee on a prospective basis at any time and without notice.

Hotwire shall make the final determination regarding your refund eligibility and the availability of a lower rate.

In no event shall you receive refunds under the Low Price Guarantee in excess of $1,000 per calendar year.

Hotwire shall not be liable for the payment of any refunds under the Low Price Guarantee with respect to rates loaded in error by Hotwire or any vendor or any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials relating to the Low Price Guarantee.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Low Price Guarantee, the decisions of Hotwire shall be final and binding on all parties.
