clean, furnished room w/ dishes ectect, we had a studio that had a murphy bed and a pull out love seat, beach towels, blender, toaster , everything!!!! .....nice pool and a beach 100 ft away or less depending on building

Let me start by saying we had a lovely experience here. There are not a lot of truly luxury accommodations on cape cod and this was a super clean and renovated and comfortable moderate accommodation. The location of your unit makes a big difference. The views on the ocean side make up for some eccentricities. We exchanged into a 2 bedroom and also booked an extra 1 bedroom ocean front that we paid for. We had six people; 4 adults and two 15 year olds. We couldn't have fit in the 2 bedroom alone. I guess we are beyond the sleeper sofa stage. However it is big enough to squish in one twin aero bed if you don't mind it sticking out into the living room. The two bedroom had ocean views out the side windows, the 1 bedroom had full ocean front views, both water views were looking over a dining room table and indoor jacuzzi bathtub. The table and bathtub are in an area that used to be an outside porch that has been incorporated into the room. That makes the living space larger, but there isn't a porch or balcony. There is a kitchenette with no stove or oven. There is a microwave, toaster, full small fridge and coffee maker. Full dishes and utensils. We brought a hot plate to boil things, and an electric fry pan to saut¿¿ or steam shellfish. We were set! The walls are thin, but the bathrooms are clean and the place was really functional. We had fun playing cards and watching basketball, and listening to the waves. Furniture was comfortable. Recommend asking for the 1 bedroom ocean front second floor. It's the best room in the house.

We stayed at the Breakers after New Year¿¿¿s. The staff was very friendly but we had to check in next door at the Soundings. We booked a one bedroom "oceanfront" but they initially gave us a loft condo at the other end of the building. Still could see the ocean but not oceanfront. They did upgrade to an ocean front overlooking the pool which overlooked the ocean. It took 3 hours for the temperature in the room to increase 4 degrees. If it wasn't for the electric fireplace it would have been too chilly. If you are on the top floor there is only a middle entrance so lugging things to your room can be cumbersome. The room manual called for a $25.00 a day room cleaning charge which we did not take "advantage" of so I don't know if they would have charged us anyway. There was no cook stove so unless you ate out all the time or bought TV dinners for the microwave you¿¿¿d go hungry. The parking lot was poorly maintained with a lot of slippery ice. Forgive me for being so negative, but I don't think we got our monies worth.

We had a great stay - the room was clean and easy to live in. The kitchen was great but there wasn't anything to heat food (no stove or microwave) so if you're coming for a long stay bring a hot plate! Otherwise it was fantastic - we're coming back for sure. We came in November when things are quiet and it was PERFECT!

We absolutely love the Breakers!!! Being timeshare owners elsewhere on the Cape, we come to the Breakers at least once a year because it is like being in heaven. We are here for a week in Nov. & have not seen any construction. The staff is wonderful & we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom when we arrived!!! It doesn't get better than that. There are 3 flat screen TVs & we can see the ocean from our room. Do not listen to the last review. Some people are never happy. I was worried about sleeping in the bed cause I have back problems, but not to worry, it was very comfortable. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance if you like to walk.
