Excellent small (romantic) hotel
We have only stayed one night and had a warm welcome by the owner. The hotel is in an old Victorian building and very nicely decorated. The room was spacious, had a nice bath and it included thee/coffee/bottled water. Good breakfast buffet and full english on order. It is situated on walking distance of both the beach and the old picturesque centre of Shanklin. Easy accessible with public transport. A must go!

Friendly and warm welcoming BB
Vey nice. We enjoyed our stayed. Mike made it very welcoming for us specially with the lovely breakfast in the mornings. Very good location, rooms are good, shower power is great. Only downside is the shower tray, which could be bigger. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

just a break
we found the hotel via the internet. for us we needed everything it said , it really is two minutes from town there is plenty of parking the room was spotless and we found the hotel quite calm . The breakfast was cooked very well indeed and not swimming in grease .For us as a couple we could not find fault here at all and will book again in august thanks for a splended couple of days

Good accommodation
Stayed here while working on the island. Room was good and clean, excellent shower in en suite. Good facilities in the hotel and the town centre is very close. Very friendly owner and he makes an excellent cooked breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

St Georges House was a real treat!!!
I booked one night in this hotel as a special treat for my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed! Well located in a quiet side road , just a couple of minutes walk and we were in the main high street of Shanklin. The room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and we had excellent beverage facilities available to us in our room.The decor is a little old -fashioned but in keeping with the building and our host Mick reminded us of what real customer care and service mean - even though he had fallen prey to a nasty cold! The breakfast was hearty and well cooked and again Mick was on hand to supply whatever was needed - we were made to feel very welcome. We both really enjoyed our stay - a well run. clean welcoming little gust house we will certainly be back again,
