Excellent place to stay.
My first choice for accommodation when I'm in Torbay. Handy location for public transport - both bus stops and Torre railway station are nearby. The town and seafront are within comfortable walking distance. A friendly welcome and very clean room. A good breakfast choice with the "full English" cooked to order. Facilities include a games room, bar and outdoor pool. All at a very competitive rate.

Recent visit
We stayed in the Glenorleigh for one night over Easter. Very friendly and exceptionally clean. Close to the town centre for convenience but far enough away for peace and quiet.The owners were extremely helpful and the whole experience was an enjoyable one. Will defiantly stay again.

|Good value.
This is a clean and quiet little hotel. A real micro-hotel. The rooms are small, especially if you have a single one, but there is still room to be comfortable. The public areas are larger and spacious. There is even a games room, which we had fun using. Breakfast is a traditional 'full english' with plenty to eat.

Purfect, and we will be back
My Partner, an outgoing 3 year old and myself stayed at the Glenorleigh July 2011.We fund ALL the staff helpful, the atmosphere relaxed, the food excellent and the room, the cleanest I have every stayed in. The Hotel offers B&B and evening meals are available.There is an outside heated pool, bar, game room, lounge area and sunbed made available to the residents. The family room is a nice size with, TV, bunk beds and an on suite.The main thing that stands out, is the fact that nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and we were left to enjoy our time in Torquay. I will recommend anyone to stay at the Glenorleigh.

Clean hotel in quiet location.
A hidden gem. Not too near the sea front where it can get extremely noisy at night but located in a quiet road approx 10 minutes walk from the sea front.Rooms for comfortable and exceptionally clean.
