Definitely NOT a 4-star establishment
My friend and I stayed here in July 2011, as it was decently priced for the season and seemed to be in a good location. Sadly, our expectations weren't met.1. The entire place is really dated - think 1970s decor. The location is convenient as far as water access goes, but it overlooks a street with some sort of unpleasant-looking restaurant, so you walk out of the hotel and feel like you're in a back alley in Queens someplace. You do get a great view of the mountain with the Temple of Jupiter right next door, but unless you're a champion alpine hiker, you'll want to get a taxi to actually visit the temple. It's absolutely worth going up the mountain, though - really spectacular views. 2. Regarding water access, yes, you're across the street from a public beach; no, you'll never find a spot on this public beach, so you have to bite the bullet and pay to access the hotel's private beach. Upon check-in, we were offered a deal where we could have two umbrellas and two chaises for 15 euros a day. Upon check-out, however, the same guy (!) tried to charge us 20 a day for their use, and I had to insist very sternly that that was not the agreement we had come to seven days prior. The beach itself is actually quite nice and clean, the water's a lovely deep blue and the chaises are really comfortable for day-long lounging.3. Our room had really poorly constructed furniture (IKEA offers far superior quality) and two tiny (not even twin) beds with thin uncomfortable mattresses and metal frames. The frames were painted yellow, but the paint was chipped and you could see rusty metal underneath. The balcony had a dirty plastic table, two equally dirty plastic chairs, and a dirty vinyl tablecloth crowning this masterpiece - yugh. There was a tiny old 13" TV perched on a stand and that was the extent of it. The bathroom wasn't bad, but very small, and the shower was not made for claustrophobes.4. Service-wise it was kind of a mess. We came back one day around 5 pm to find that our room hadn't yet been cleaned; when we came downstairs to request that it be taken care of, the guy at the front desk motioned for a maid who was mopping the lobby floor in a dirty dress, filthy socks and worn slipper to go upstairs to clean our room. Breakfast was only okay, nothing particularly tasty or Italian. Bottom line - definitely not worth the money. Proximity to "central" Terracina won't even get you much. Friends of ours stayed at the Hotel de Sol and really liked it, so look at that instead.

Do not stay here
Old and dirty hotel, which should have been renewed ages ago. Breakfast very poor. Staff was unfriendly and rude. Paid full price according to the rates. Found out, that the air-con was out of function. The staff contacted and they answered: so it is- nothing we can do - no refund.8 hours internet= 15 ¿¿¿. Deserves only one star. The four stars must be reached by bribery.

Wonderful Hotel and Wonderful Town
We stayed here for two nights during our travels down the coast of Italy. The hotel is in a great location right across the street from a private beach. The free breakfast was excellent! This hotel is rated a four star which I believe is for it's location and service. Internet was available for only 3 euros and hour. Great deal! The service was excellent on all accounts. There were many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel and town to anyone looking for a great coastal getaway.

Old and filthy
The hotel has seen its better days. Was not cleaned well. Service was non-existing, very noisy if you opened the windows, which you had to because the airconditioning wasn't reliable. The beach is claimed to be the hotels property, but was very expensive and drinks cost more here than at the neighbours! They should NOT advertise with facilities if they don't exist!! NEVER again!!

Good location and service in the center of Terracina.
A nice hotel with good service in the center of Terracina, that offers some shopping and various nice restaurants nearby. Fresh seefood on the meny of course. Friendly, helpful staff that speeks excellent english as well.
