This guest house has to one of the best i have used,very clean and fresh,comfortable bed,excellent breakfast,very good location and last but not least the hospitality from Allan and Perri was second to none,definately on my visit again list.....

Very friendly staff, nice accommodations. We stayed 2 nights. Shower was excellent, bed was ok (I am tall and the foot obard made the bed a bit short). Breakfast was great, good selection. Close to beach, park and attractions yet out of the city center.

We've just returned home after two nights at Wentworth Guesthouse. Though the weather was cold, we were greeted warmly by Perri and Allan, offered tea (yes, please!) and shown to our spotless room. Though a bit tight with bunk beds for the kids and the adult bed, we have no complaints. The heat worked wonderfully, the shower was brilliant and, I'll say it again - spotless! It's obvious they take great pride in their guesthouse and aim to treat every guest as they would family. We were all (even the kids) addressed by name during our stay and felt very comfortable there. The breakfast was wonderful - between the four of us over two days, I think we covered most of the offerings and none disappointed.The guesthouse is well-situated on a quiet street with ample free parking. It was a short walk to both a playground for the kids as well as a stop for the Dartmouth Steam Train.We highly recommend Wentworth Guest House!

My boyfriend and I came to The Wentworth mid October 2012 for a weekend away, last minute. We had guest room 9 which had it's own front door at the front of the b&b which was really useful, as I was able to park right outside, and made it easy when coming home late at night.The situation of the b&b was perfect, a 10 minute walk into the town (or a 20 minute sea-front scenic route!!) and was close to gift shops, numerous restaurants and a surplus of arcades. Brixham was also 5 miles away, which was nice for something different to do in the day time.The room itself was lovely, clean and modern with a television and comfortable double bed - excellent value for money. As it was really cold, we noticed the heating was extra-efficient and always came home to an oven!! The breakfast was gorgeous, we both had full english every morning, and it never disappointed. Allan and Perri were so welcoming to us both, making the effort to greet us by our names, which gave it a really personal touch. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! We went for 2 lovely meals out at both TJ's in Paignton and The Crab Quay House in Brixham which we'd highly recommend. But more to the point, we'd highly recommend the Wentworth for a lovely place to call 'home' for a few days.

My friend and I recently stayed at the Wentworth for the fifth time. For us it is like going home as Perri and Allan always do their very best to make our stay perfect in every way and nothing is too much trouble for them. My friend had her Birthday whilst we were there and I was able to arrange with Perri and Allan for a surprise cake and wine to be on hand for her thus making the day really special. I honestly don't think you could find a better guesthouse in the area. The location is great with all the ameneties you could wish for .The Guesthouse is spotless, comfortable and welcoming and the breakfasts are totally awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend Perri and Allan's Guesthouse to any of my friends .
