Afternoon tea to die for!
We visited Greywalls for the first time for a champagne afternoon tea (!!) to (start to) celebrate an 80th birthday.The building is fabulous and we enjoyed beautifully prepared fresh sandwiches each on unique breads, cakes and scones and clotted cream and, of course, said champagne - an afternoon of delightful excess!

A superb stay.
We have just enjoyed a superb stay at this fantastic hotel,being welcomed by staff who make the effort to see that you are put at ease when you step through the door.The relaxed atmosphere is just right for guests to soak up the history involved in this establishment.This was our third visit but first for an overnight stay,so we new what to expect with regard to the food but we were very happy with the accomodation.The extensive wine and spirit choice caters for all and being given advice by those with a genuine interest in helping the guest to enjoy a relaxed drink in the bar.The menu was excellent catering for all,the family members enjoying the stay with us were blow away, not only with the presentation but the superb flavours.The chef and his team have to be applauded,what we had to eat surpassed what we have eaten in the past and those meals were excellent.Once again ICMI have gathered a fantastic team to operate this establishment it is a pleasure to visit and enjoy such a well run establishment.

Glorious Greywalls
The quintessential country house hotel with understated elegance, made extra special by the warm, thoughtful and efficient staff. We had a wonderful stay to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Our room was sumptuously decorated with beautiful fabrics and antique furniture and the food was delicious, however the crowning glory is the staff who anticipated our every need and made our stay so memorable.Many hotels have charm and character, but Greywalls is perfect in every respect. This is without question my favorite hotel in Scotland.

Wedding - lovely!
I attended a wedding at the weekend there, with guests over 45 people. The venue was stunning and the sun was shining! The rooms were spacious with Molton Brown soaps etc. There was added touches such as a tuck down service which was lovely! The rooms within the venue had an antique touch which felt very homely. The Champagne was flowing throughout the day. Dinner was also good but not big enough for all guests as one table had to be put in an other room which isn't ideal for a wedding. Wine was frequently topped up through out the meal and waiters in the dining area were very attentive. Bar staff were not up to the standards of the other staff as some would say they were rude. Breakfast the next morning was ok, with nice touches such as cakes arriving once seated. Over all the venue was perfect for a wedding. Loved every minute of it!

Just Perfect!
My partner and I stayed for 1 night over a weekend. The hotel is very charming, relaxing and peaceful. The food was excellent as was the service. Afternoon tea is a must!!! We will both certainly be back.
