Thanks for making your hotel feel like our home
We have stayed at La Maison several times, mostly for skiing but also in the summer. The rooms are large and always absolutely spotless and the welcome is warm Prices in Alleghe are much cheaper than the equivalent in the Alps. Coffee about 2 Euros even on the mountain. The slopes are also relatively quiet especially Monday to Friday. But take your travel kettle if you want to make a hot drink in the room, personally I prefer to have coffee and good chat in the bar but that's what I've been told to add by my other half!

Excellent hotel run by Fantastic Italian Hosts
A wonderful hotel located on the outer limits of the town of Alleghe with a 10 minute journey to access the winter sports facilities of the Dolomiti Superski area within the Eastern Dolomites. Our hosts Alessandra, Eric and Fillipo provided excellent support to both my girlfriend and me throughout our stay, providing information on ski-hire, ski pass purchase, restaurant recommendations and travel information. This support was further extended when I sustained a knee injury whilst skiing. Their support in recovering our hire car, returning our hired ski equipment and helping us to obtain refunds for ski passes was first class and very much appreciated. The hotel's ensuite rooms are very clean and comfortable with chalet style interiors and balconies overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views. The Wellness & Spa Area are very well appointed and provide a fantastic relaxing atmosphere at the end of a day's skiing or outing in the local area. All of the staff within the hotel were very polite and accommodating and though some speak little English, their smile said it all. The continental breakfast provided is excellent and very substantial and the Trattoria: 'Al Fornel' which is within 3 minutes walk from the hotel provides excellent pizza's and pasta dishes. Though we had to sadly cut short our holiday we will be returning to Hotel Garni La Maison within the next year. A very big thank you again to Alessandra, Eric and Fillipo from Louise & Jim.

Fantastic
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! 5 stars all round!! Great hotel with proprietors Allessandra and Eric who cannot do enough for you so good we keep coming back every year. Spotlessly clean and the spa with jacuzzi, sauna ,steam room and showers that spray ( if you want) a beautiful essence of tropical flowers is better, than any of the top rated five star hotels I have stayed in recently! This means you don't have to spend the earth on expensive hotels to get the best service and facilities for a wonderful stay!Would thoroughly recommend ....you will not be disappointed.!!!!

Beautiful Hotel
We loved our stay at La Maison, Alexandra and her family where there to greet us at 11pm when we arrived late off a train, they helped us with pickup transfers to and from the train in Belluno. Our Room was on the top floor with gorgeous views of the snow capped dolomite mountains. The room itself was very spacious with wooden beams and furnishings. The bathroom is large, although the shower was quite small. Theres a medium sized couch in the room aswell. Our Breakfast was delightful with delicious pastries and yummy muesli. The Breakfast Room lady whom spoke little english was a pleasure, she was so helpful and got to know us well even with the language barrier. Alexandras son Philip was a wonderful help he looked up great restaurants in town and helped us with bus timetables and things, as most things in Alleghe are in Italian and not very many ppl speak english. And the Wellness Center..... It was amazing, was so great to go to after skiing all day! Although we would of preferred a warm hot pool, it was still very relaxing. We will definitely be returning to stay at La Maison!

First Class
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lovely new hotel nestled in the Dolomite mountains in northern Italy. Our room was all exposed knotty pine beams and walls with a balcony looking out at snow covered mountain peaks. The attention from staff was very good. Alexandra and her family looked after every detail. There was no problem speaking English in the hotel. The breakfast was good, and the espresso and cappuccino perfect. We didn't use the spa services but others spoke highly of this part of the hotel. There is a nice restaurant steps away that served pasta and pizza that was as good as you would expect in Italy. All in all we were delighted with staying in this hotel that was recommended to us by a friend's son who lives in Alleghe. The other nice thing is that it is a few minutes drive away from the Alleghe town center and all of the noise and activity around the arena and ski hill and we appreciated the relative peace afforded by the location
