This is the perfect spot for a quiet retreat. Be sure to request a room with a view and balcony-you're sure to see amazing sunsets. There is a great beach within walking distance, good for snorkelling. The restaurant is lovely...no night life per say. You have to make your own with is fine by me.

We spent a week here in aug 2012 and had a fabulous time. The village is traditional spanish and we enjoyed being there at fiesta time. We hired a car and had some great day trips but did enjoy our days chilling by the pool and eating in the local restaurants. Our room was a good size with great balcony. Breakfast was delicious and the view delightful.

I chose this Hotel based on the Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. We had already spent a week in Mallorca, all-inclusive at the Delta Hotel, Cabo Blanco so opted for something different for the second week of our holiday. I knew Estellencs was a village and a bit out of the way, actually it was a lot out of the way (good job my husband did the driving as the hills are a bit scary!) but well worth the effort. The Hotel Maristel is on the main street and there are rooms on either side. We were in the main hotel part so never needed to go across the road which were rooms only I believe. There is a bar, reception area, free wi-fi and also the use of a desktop PC for free. Patricia on reception was the most helpful hotel Manager I have ever come across and nothing was too much trouble for her. She hired us bikes, found us information on the internet, directed us to the best beaches and since I have come home I needed to know who the artist was that has created the fantastic scupltures in Estellencs, I emailed her and she mailed me straight back ! Top service. The rooms were large, modern and clean and our balconies overlooked the little golf-course at the rear of the hotel.The swimming pool whilst small (it is a boutique hotel) was adequate and plenty of sunbeds around. Whilst you aren't supposed to play ball games in it, when there was only us in the pool the other guests didn't mind the children playing and in fact joined in. There is a table tennis table on the same level, WC and drinks machine. On the level below is a jacuzzi and spa bath, fantastic fun and therapy and shaded sunbeds and pool table. Also a TV/reading room and internet access available on this level. The indoor spa was the most fantastic of many I have been to . Lots of water jets, so lots of giggles. We had opted for bed and breakfast (as the reviews had been mixed) as we were led to believe there was a variety of bars and restaurants in walking distance.Big Mistake!! Breakfast was a fantastic array of everything you could think of from fruit, cereals, cheeses, ham, bread rolls, pastries, jams, eggs, sausage etc etc fresh tea and coffee and juices so I cannot imagine that the evening meal would have been a disappointment but to book for the 5 of us would have been almost Euros100 so we never did stay in. Reality is, Estellencs has a cafe-bar (Vall-Hermos) across the road (shuts every Weds), a Tapa Bar (Sa Tanca) down the hill and a pizzeria a short walk out of the village (doesn't serve chips) so unless you are prepared to drive, that's your lot for eateries. That said, we enjoyed the food at all 3 but would have gone stir crazy if staying for more than a week. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mallorca, I loved Estellencs and will return. I say perfect Honeymoon destination as it's a beautful little hotel, if you want life on the edge or wild wild fun, this is not the place for you. TIP-go to Sant Elm, the beach is great and Western Waterpark-a fabulous day out for all the family

We (young couple) stayed at this nice hotel for one night on our way to Palma.Room was enough big and had really comfortable one king bed (Excatly what we reqested).It's slighty overpriced however we found good deal on expedia.Wouldn't recommend for longer stay.

Lovely hotel, pools, sauna numerous jacuzzis. Didn't get there but the food looked amazing. Very quiet location, will hopefully return next year Fantastic getaway would highly recconend. Bus stop outside the hotel
