It was such a lovely experience to spend few days at the jazz golf hotel ,, the first thing i felt good about was the always smiling staff ,, no one presents you with a service except giving it with a big hearty smile ,, i read about it in other reviews , and it is REALLY TRUE. the second most appealing thing for me was the fact that the hotel is away from other hotels and resorts in makadi city , this made it much more conclusive and i loved that ,, and it is just few min, away from the other places or the beach or the market thanks to the hourly provided service of shuttle carts which is powered by electricity ,, a concept i valued MUCH along with most other means the hotel provide to save the environment. i loved that as well.rooms are spacious with sitting area , tv , refrigerator , tea and coffee supply to make any time . cleanliness is obvious everywhere and the place is well maintained in all aspects plenty of staff to help and plenty to food and drinks to choose from and with a good quality.the hotel also offer a gym center with breath taking view, sauna and jacuzzi. and on request massage services. i would like to thank all the people working there and in particular Reda and Tamer working in the dinning room and ahmad for all the help and the kindness they showed to us and to all the guests.i dont usually say this ,, but whatever you read as a positive feed back regarding the"" Jaz Makadi Golf Hotel "" IT IS ALL TRUE. it is a place worth to spend time in.p,s,am no golfer , but that didnt mean i didnt enjoy the place or that if you are not a golfer you wont have a good time ,, it is a great field to even walk or run along.p.s.s.stary nights are awesome ,, dont miss it to stay out on the grass and look at the sky ,, it is really worth it

Good overall experience with just a few minor niggles. The beach is awful, it's like sardines, rammed packed with no privacy, loud Russians and it reminded us of Benidorm on a bad day and the sea is not like other areas of Egypt we have visited. Luckily the hotel pool made up for it and to be honest there was no need to visit the beach. Did get a bit cross that people were getting up at 6am and placing towels on the sunbeds but not actually appearing until mid morning to sunbath. Service is excellent, place is immaculate, room large and good choice of food. If you want a holiday to relax, sun bath and not much else then this is a great choice. We did a couple of trips, VIP cruise and ultimate desert safari, but both not up to much.

We stayed here in March 2013 and found it to be a lovely hotel. It was a truly relaxing holiday. Rooms are either in the main hotel or there are some available by the pool. The ones by the pool are slightly less spacious but comfortable and the main hotel rooms are large and either offer a view of the golf course or down to Makadi bay. Customer service is excellent - nothing appears to be too much trouble. The buffet meals were of a high standard and it was run very smoothly. For a peaceful relaxing holiday this was an ideal choice.

If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, service orientated adult only location then the Makadi Bayview Golf Hotel will be perfect for you. If you want lots of activities, games and partying, then I suggest you look at the numerous hotels by the beach.We wanted the former, a relaxing week in the sun with spacious rooms, excellent service and some peace and quiet. The hotel manager, Emad and his staff delivered exactly that.The hotel is about 1.5k away from the beach and has an elevated position overlooking Makidi Bay to the east and the golf course and mountains to the west. They run an hourly shuttle to the beach, should you want to go........................the beach area is swamped by German and Eastern Europeans, if thats your thing then you will be delighted. On a positive note, the snorkelling is very good off the beach.The rooms are clean, spacious and well laid out, with views either over the bay or golf course. As the hotel has 6 floors, the top floors have better views, we were actually on the 2nd floor when we checked in and the hotel reception team were great, moving us to a 5th floor room. For the last two days, I upgraded us into a suite on the 6th loor, it did costs extra but was well worth it. They let us check-in at 10.00am and check out at 3.00pm the nexct day, so almost two full days for one nights cost.The "all inclusive" food and drinks were very good. There is one main restuarant for breakfast and dinner and then a poolside restuarant with an A La Carte menu. The food was good with a decent selection and variety and the waiting staff courteous, funny and keen to ensure that you wanted for nothing.One minor thing........... if you have a beer out of the mini-bar, you have to pay for it. I found that it was easy to ask the waiter for a couple of unopened beers, so that I could put them in the fridge and top up what I'd used.On the leisure front, there is a decent pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym, neither of which we ever really busy.For golfers there is a good set up here with a full championship course, 9 hole par 3, driving range and Academy. In summary, the hotel facilities and staff offer excellent service combined with an unobtrusive approach, so that guests can relax and enjoy their holiday. I woldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and quiet location that focuses on service and quality.

Hotel recommended to us for a weeks stay. It is well laid out and customer serviceis excellent, from bell boy up to senior levels. changed our room on day two without fuss as I had requested west facing to get the later sun. Food plentiful and buffet style, rooms comfortable and spacious. Hotel has a golf course but it shouldnt put you off if you want a pool side break with guaranteed sunshine, although it was windy all week. Dont like two tier drinks where you pay for premium brands, it cheapens AI also you should dress for dinner as its an occasion not a "pit stop" some guests did'nt. Would recommend, but go again ? well there are plenty of other places and hotels to try so unfair for me to say yes...or no.
