WAS OK
The room was clean the bed comfortable and clean the view from the room was very nice overlooking the Nile...... only downfall was breakfast had to keep asking for things 1st day had no sliced bread but had a toster fair play they had bread the next day did not like food plated up in fridge with clingflim over it and i do think fridge was not at the right temp butter was soft when it was there and did not have to ask for it ....the lobby was a bit dark allways looked closed from outside, to buy drinks and water was not silly price was good,the staff was ok very nice .there was not many pepole staying in the hotel i was talking to some one that goes there every year and they said breakfast used to big buffet .....but torisam is not good at moment and i am sure there is a lot hotels in the same situation if the hotel had done a good breakfast i would have rated it very good........ at the end of the day you get what you pay for and this was not bad for what we paid, would stay there again ......yes .... but i think i would give other hotels a try

1 night was enough
Booked this 'just in case' and I stayed 1 night. Drab and shabby reception area and the bedroom was no better. All I can say is the bed was clean because the whole place was truly awful The bath had paint patches over the chipped enamel and the towels were grey, unusable. Window onto the balcony had no lock and I did not feel safe.Breakfast was in a dingy room, nothing fresh, all plated and in a fridge with films of dust. All I could take was the coffee, no staff to cook eggs even tho a hot plate and pan was in view. I can not recommend this hotel even at the bargain price of ¿¿ 12.00 per night

Neglected hotel
This hotel has amazing views as it has a rooftop swimming pool (as does every rooftop pool in Luxor lol)............... BUTTTTTTTTTTTT the staff are not friendly at all, unless you're showing that you're naiive and never been to Egypt before. They trick you at every opportunity, including never giving change. Swimming pool staff take 30 minutes to fetch even the simplest things.......... the pool is surrounded by white marble, and therefore badly burn your feet. Never any toilet roll at pool toilet. Staff find every request very very difficult. Constantly on the hunt for tips................

Nice location and room....
Located in the area know as "little Britain " and within walking distance of Luxor temple temple and some nice restaurants nearby, the Lantern being my favourite.Room was clean and large enough but very noisy with traffic from the street, and unless you have a room above the 5th floor, you cannot see the Nile due to the large trees across the road. Maybe better to have a room that does not overlook the street to avoid the noise.Roof top pool area was very nice, relaxing but water very, very cold !Breakfast was poor, little choice and just omelettes and bread.Free Internet in the lobby are only, staff on reception very nice.The main problem in the lobby area is the lighting, very dim and dingy atmosphere which spoils the hotel.Overall, for the money paid a reasonable stay.

Excellent place to stay in Luxor
There are many reasons for choosing New Pola if you want to go to Luxor. First of all: It is very good value for money. You stay extremely cheap in a clean and nice hotel with a comforting swimming pool on the roof.Next: The location is ideal for trips to the most exciting places of interest as well as to restaurants and shopping areas. At last I want to mention a smiling, lovely staff who wants to help you whatever your demand is. Thanks to the staff I have visited this hotel a lot of times, and I will return.
