Discussing, unprofessional in scheduling it took five hours to get a room after I had reservation 4 hours ago ! body oil all ove
This place need to be inspected by the building department stucco chucks falling off the building , jacuzzi lights covers all falling off and drain someone could get hurt or electrocuted ! 120 volt light expos¿¿ as you walk up steps by jacuzzi ( electrocution :( ) the rooms sheets are old and stain I have pictures to back it up not only that they play a tactic on you to see how much they get out of you. (Ah scams :(

Great Stay!
I have enjoyed Sabal every time I have stayed. The rooms are updated, trendy, comfortable, and clean. The beds are comfortable and large, with lots of pillows. The location isn't my favorite, but it is about 10 minutes from winter garden village, which has ample shopping and restaurant choices. I have truly loved staying at Sabal and will be going back the next time I am in Ocoee.

Nice room, Great Price
Was looking for a room to stay overnight with my elderly father to visit a friend. The Sabal shares the lot with the Marriott Courtyard but I paid about $45 less than I would have there. The room was spacious and clean. I loved the pull out desk that rolled to the end of the bed. The desk chair was great too. Having the frig and microwave in the bathroom was a bit weird but I didn't use them so it wasn't an issue. I had gotten an exterior room which was accessible to the parking lot so I didn't see the pool. I had originally booked a poolside room for $5 more but then saw on the website that the exterior ones are easier to get to from the car and thought that would be best for my dad. I did try calling to ask about that but the receptionist could not speak to me then and took my number to call back. When we got there, she said she would have given us a first floor room if she had known but I guess we were gone when she tried to call us back. I was not aware that there was a second floor or that there was no elevator. My dad is able to climb stairs still but if you have a disabled person in your party, be sure to ask for the ground floor. I do think they may need to get more staff though as I thought the desk clerk who checked us in was a member of the cleaning staff as she appeared to be coming from doing a housekeeping job (bucket and rags) as we walked into the lobby and saw her coming from down the hall while no one was at the desk. She asked us to give her a minute and then came out behind the desk to check us in and remembered my phone call the previous day. This was about 6 pm. She was very pleasant and accomodating. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I visit my friend in Occoee.

Great stay in Orlando, Sabal saved the day
I had booked another hotel as part of my flight/hotel package. The hotel I booked, however, was awful. I called several hotels but they were booked. I then called Sabal and the front desk clerk said she would hold the room for me until I got there (she did not ask me for a credit card or anything). Upon arrival, the clerk was very friendly. I got a Triple A discount and I was very pleased with the room. It was very clean, updated and I liked how the fridge was placed in the bathroom area so you didn't hear it at night when sleeping. Pool was very nice also. I would highly recommend this hotel and, as they helped me out when I booked a nightmare room at another hotel, I will certainly stay there again the next time I'm in Orlando.

It could be better.
I have stayed twice in this hotel, both times very short visits of one and two nights. The first time we stayed here was in at the beginning of 2012 and then again on Saturday night two days ago (Feb 23-24). The hotel offers free parking to guests and free wireless internet connection in all rooms. Both times, we have been kept waiting when checking in as there seems to be a single person in charge at all times, so if more than one guest arrives at once, it takes some time to get sorted. The rooms are spacious and modern, but I do question the whole fridge and coffee machine inside the bathroom situation, as it doesn't seem very hygienic!On first impression, the room looks clean, but on closer inspection we found what can only be described as compacted soil on behind the bathroom door, directly in front of the mini fridge. There were hairs of different lengths on the shower floor which I cleared by letting the water run for some time and the toilet, although not obviously dirty, did have something sticky on the lid. The white sheets and towels were spotless and looked fresh, and there was enough storage to comfortably put everything away. The room provides a hair dryer and and ironing board, and sits four people comfortably.This hotel was ok for my visits because i didn't really spend much time in the hotel itself, but I would think twice about coming back for a longer stay and would look at different options before booking it again!
