Friendly,full facility, family affordable accommodation
A very clean,full service aparthotel with spacious rooms in an apartment type complex with choice of 1 or 2 bedrooms,living,kitchenette,balcony overlooking 3 large pools in a palm and green invironment.They have a good restuarant (buffet and a la carte) as well as a fully fitted health spa with heated pool.Recently painted and well maintained garden and recreational facilities for all ages.A welcome package (only out of season??) consisted of 1st morning free breakfast,a bottle of Cava,some juices and snacks,coffee,milk, in the fridge.A multilingual reception desk that calls you by your name despite the large number of rooms

The hotel that doesn't know what it wants to be
We used the Ogisaka Garden hotel as our accommodation for a cycling training week in Spain. A curious place. On the positive side, the apartments were excellent - spacious and well equipped had we wished to self cater. The restaurant food was generally very good and in plentiful supply for hungry cyclists. However the complete package wasn't quite right - the outdoor swimming pool wasn't particularly clean or inviting (though it was off-season), and the gym/spar facilities were configured in a strange way (you had to go through one facility to get to another) and the jacuzzi was out of order. The gym was well equipped. The hotel could position itself as more upmarket if it smartened up the reception area and improved the ambience of the dining room. We were accommodated on long tables - it felt like a canteen. The bar was also stuck at one end of the dining room and wasn't really a particularly inviting place to gather and chat. There were no inside reception areas where you could meet up, apart from some seats in a thoroughfare next to the computer desk. Breakfast didn't start until 8.30am and dinner (in true Spanish style) started late too. They also had a slow and inefficient method of checking you in and out for meals. I won't mention the live music - very odd indeed and definitely not to my taste!! Overall a mixed bag; largely positive but with some features that could be improved. The owners could make much more of this facility and really need to decide what type of customer they wish to cater for.

Good apartment hotel, friendly staff, restaurant could be better
I read some bad reviews on Tripadvisor but booked anyway (excellent deal during Christmas) and we were not disappointed. The apartments are large enough, clean and well appointed (also with flat screen TV in the bedroom).Friendly and very helpfull staff.The area is great: near the beach, the pier and many shops and restaurants are in walking distance.There is even a beauty salon.Points of improvement:The matrasses were not so good.No washing machine (the laundry service is quite expensive)Bad noise insulation: we had very noisy neighbours and could literally hear everything they said.The restaurant looks uninspiring and so is the food. Restaurants in the neighbourhood are better and cheaper.Many of the fitness equipment needs to be replaced (old, not functional, some even dangerous).The outside pool is closed - even in summer months - during siesta hours!

First time in Spain
We were staying in a rented house in Javea that had spider issues and found this place on Expedia for under ¿¿¿40 a night off season for 2 people. I came to see the room before committing. There was an English speaking gentleman at the front desk who was extremely accommodating. The apartment is clean and spacious. Queen bed. Small bathroom, no tub. Pull out couch for 2 more. 2 TVs that work with mostly Spanish, 2 German and 2 English channels. Heat and AC. Stove top, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Have free passes to the indoor swimming pool and whirlpool which looked nice. Yes, they tried to sell us the food/spa massage package and I said no, I could not commit to untried food. They gave us a free dinner. We walked to the beach and had a drink at Cafe Ole which is owned by an ex-pat UK couple who are very friendly / cool. We showed up with a self-cook pizza as the previous place had an oven. The kitchen cooked it for us with the help of the front desk, no problem. They also brought a kettle to our room. Unit number 5, no kitchen smells, small terrace, no noise issues. I would stay here again.

I was really pleasantly surprised
I booked the Ogisaka Garden because to be honest it was very reasonable (only ¿¿318 for nine nights). I wasn't expecting a lot for this price especially as I had read some negative reviews. I was really surprised. The rooms were fine. Very clean and serviced daily. The pool is fantastic. It starts in a waterfall and stretches all around the bar area. Little bridges cross it so that you can get to your apartment. The staff were lovely and we were never pestered to eat in the restauarant as some people have said. Although we did eat there a couple of times by choice and the food was very nice. We were given free wi-fi, free use of the gym, a free breakfast and a free massage. However, I don't know if all this free stuff is the norm as it may have only been because it was out of season. The location is great, only a couple of minutes walk into the town. I really enjoyed it and the staff could not have been more helpful. I recommend this hotel as it is very reasonable and very clean. I would definitely go there again.
