Stay at Orquidea- Wonderful
Just returned from staying 7 nights at the Orquidea (May 2013), The aparthotel is situated just off the beach. From our balcony you can view the hotel pool, beach and horizon at sea. Its set in wonderful location. The hotel itself is very clean with daily maid service. Very friendly staff, nothing is a bother for them.My recommendation is too email and request a sea view in advance. It costs 35 euro for a week, but, well worth it.Walking distance to marina and town, along a beautiful sea front. We did not have the all inclusive. many restaurants offering 3 course dinners, some with a drink for 11-12 euro per person. Well worth a visit.

Excellent location
Booked this apartahotel for 1 week from 1st May 2013 and couldn't fault the location. Walk out from the pool area and you are on the promenade which goes around the entire bay; a couple of steps more and you are on the beach. Unfortunately there had been a severe storm the week before and this had washed up a lot of "stuff" that looked like leaves and plant fibres. The local council were working hard to clear this every day and it didn't spoil the holiday for us as the water was too cold to swim! We had booked a one bed apartment and it was more than adequate and very clean - as was the entire hotel. The food was plentiful, fresh and a good variety always available, we stayed half board which allowed us to venture out during the day and sample the tapas available locally.As others have already stated, be aware when you arrive that you will be offered "an upgrade" to the pool/sea view rooms. We decided against this, based on what others have said about the noise and were glad we did. The pool area was a little noisy, bearing in mind it was the start of the season - can't imagine what it will be like later on. The cost is also a little prohibitive - 10 euros per person per night!! Our advise is to ask for a room overlooking the front of the hotel, the view is still nice and it's quieter - apart that is from the distant cockerel that crows quite regularly.The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.There was very little entertainment provided, this could be because the season had only just started, we did notice a singer advertised on the day we left - so who knows! Check out the town square though, we were lucky enough to be there for a fiesta and the entertainment was brilliant. While you are there check out the sculpture near the door to the town hall, it's of a mans head and his eyes follow you everywhere - it's a bit spooky!As you may have guessed, we loved out week there, we've been before and will no doubt being going again. Great value for money and a beautiful place.

Amazing Family Week at Easter
Just back from a fantastic week at these apartments. The rooms are spacious and had everything you could possibly want. We had the penthouse apartment with a huge roof terrace with the most amazing views. The pool area is lovely with plenty of beds. A short stroll to the square where there are some lovely bars and restaurants we will most definitely be back.

Good hotel, great location
I stayed here with my boyfriend an my little sister, for one week in June 2012. We are all in our early 20's. We booked all inclusive. The Food.I would give the meals 5/5. Breakfast was the usual, a good vairety of cereals, porridge, muesli, cornflakes, cocopops. Sausages, bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, eggs (cooked anyway you wanted), toast, croissants, pain au chocolate, dried fruits, fresh fruits, tinned fruit, youghurt. Lunches were different every day, there was always soup, chicken noodle, minestrone etc. There was cold meats, cheese, salad, rolls, and always 3 or 4 hot choices, plenty of rice and vegetables. As for the dinners, we only ate dinner once during our stay, but it was nice and again plenty of choice. The dining room itself was spacious and although the hotel was busy the dining room never seemed to be packed full at any time. The Bar.We avoided this like the plague........ drinks were served in poncy plastic cups. Room only customers were given gallons of juice, beer, etc. We were given a mouthfull and had to go up one at a time. Could not get a table at the bar area for love nor money. And that was as early as 9am right up til closing time. The pool.Same as the bar, could not get a lounger at any time of the day. However this wasnt too troublesome as thr beach is a mere 2 minute walk away. The room.It was very small for the three of us. No where to store suitcases so they took up precious floor space. There was a fridge which was handy. We went down to pay for AC and were told it was already on, we said it wasnt. The handyman came up and he said it was on. If it was we never felt any sort of breeze. The room was like an oven 24/7!! It was clean enough, towels and bedding renewed a few times in the week. To be fair we didnt spend an awful lot of time in the room anyway.LocationIt was a great resort, lots of great restuarants. Its not rowdy at all. We took the discobus from Sta. Eulalia bus station to Ibiza Town, then from there to Amnesia. It was cheap enough but a lot of chopping and changing. We got a taxi back at about 5am, and to be honest it wasnt that expensive. If you were doing it everynight it would work out expensive, but then again, if you were clubbing every night you'r probs not gonna be in Santa Eulalia. We got the little train from the prom, was ok, stopped off at a few other beaches but you didnt get a lot time, maybe 10 mins, enough to gulp a juice and back on the train. Traditionally, I hate karaoke, but we ended up in the Mirage bar at the marina, which we loved, the karaoke was bareable! And they had entertainment on most night, cocktails are fab, and quite cheap too!Hope this review helps someone.

Good basic hotel, good location
Went here with my friend and my son aged 2....was not expecting much due to cheap price but was pleasantly surprised. Room standard but clean. Location great, on beach, walking distance to everything. Quite a few families and quite a few singletons too so suits all types except the older generation maybe. For a relatively cheap holiday I would stay here again. Never ate at the hotel but plenty of restaurants nearby.
