Not a bad word to say :-)
I had a really enjoyable 11 day break at this hotel and loved the theme and quality feel of this nautical hotel. Was surprised upon my return to the room on my birthday to find a bottle of fizz and a birthday card from them...a very nice touch!! Sun loungers on the terrace of the room was very well used if you want a break from the poolside, the pool by the way its super and makes some great camera shots at night! Was a great base to explore the local area, i would personal avoid the chavy Puerto Rico Commercial Shopping center but some lovely places to be found up in the mountains and in Puerto Mogan and Melnoaras. 10/10 for me and some very nice reception staff who put up with me trying to speak Spanish (badly) for the duration!!

Beautiful Hotel with excellent staff and quality rooms
I have stopped in both the Marian suites and the Marina Bay view this last time and can say they both are excellent. For me the Bay View exceeds that of the suites (Just) the level of service and the quality of the rooms can not be faulted. As long as you don¿¿¿t mind steps then this is the hotel for you, probably less so if you struggle with lack of mobility; however this is not to distract from the quality of the place its more of an observation. I would have no hesitation in returning to the hotel or recommending it to anybody.

Wonderful holiday
Before travelling to the hotel i gave them a quick call to request i had a cd player in my room as i like listening to music whilst sun bathing or getting ready to go out. I spoke to Raphael who said he would see what he could do. When we arrived he was at the reception and told me there was a dvd in the room and had also put us in the select rooms with a view of the marina and sea, with a lovely terrace also. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the shower superb and the weather excellent. The pool was a lovely size and all the hotel staff friendly and welcoming. All in all i would recommend this hotel to family and friends it was excellent and although the steps were a challenge we got nicely toned legs and there are always taxis available, if you have a little too much canarian hospitality!!!

The best sun holiday accomodation I have stayed in!
Where to start...My sister and I booked the Marina Bayview Apartments through Travel Republic, the photos on the site and reality did not disapoint.We stayed in apartment 209D which is in the highest part of the complex but with that comes a stunning view of the port and privacy although in general the views and priviacy of the accomodation is more or less the same throughout.The apartment we had was like a duplex, living area, kitchen on the ground floor with a large balcony and the bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor. The living area was spotless, beautifully deocrated and had all the comforts would expect and much more. Kitchen had a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hob, kettle and all the essentials.The bathroom very nicely designed, huge shower head, spotlessly clean.The apartment also had FREE airconditioning.The bedroom was extreamly comfortable, not the usual hard as a rock bed you get in standard apartment accomodation, I think it actually had a layer of memory foam so extreamly comfortable.The restaurant has a wide selection for breakfast, there is an option to book a few days in advance for 6 euro pp per day or 8 on the spot. 8 euro is a little steap unless your going to eat 8 euro worth of food. There is a little shop on sit with most of the essentials, there is also a supermarket halfway down the hill which is excellant, cheap and huge selection of fresh fruit and anything else you may need.All in all the service, location and accomodation was above standard. I will definitly be returning.Only thing I would say is that to reach the marina on foot you have at least 200 steps and a hill to get down so maybe not ideal for those not so firm on there feet but a taxi from the marina is only about 3.50 eur so quite cheap. We took the stairs at least twice a day so great for burning off all the amazing food we ate :)
