Wonderful!!!
We came to Lecce at monday 6 of may 2013 from Matera where we stay in HIlton Garden Inn. We made a tour in the museum of Tronto and we visit the wonderful village of otranto, wich is 29 km from Lecce. The hotel in Leece was grate surprise for us because it is not graduate as 5 star hotel, but the facilities are really similar to this. Rooms are very well decorated, toilet is wide enough, there is also little balcony. The hotel locating very close to the mane attractions of Leece - the Roman theater and other things.

Great place and great location.
We spent 3 nights last weekend and early this week.Rooms were substantial and the included breakfast was very good.Staff were well informed and quite helpful.Free street parking right in front of the hotel was a nice bonus: saved Euro 45.

A wonderful short break
We stayed at The Risorgimento Resort in mid April 2013 on a four night break and had a wonderful time. Perfectly situated in the centre of town and within easy walking of all the sights of the compact and historic town of Lecce, the hotel is stylish and contemporary. We had a deluxe room which was modern and very spacious, with lovely high ceilings. One word of warning is that it can be hard to sleep on occasions if you have the windows open as there seem to be very loud people wandering the streets at all hours. Lecce itself is a beautiful, historic, Baroque town and feels very safe and would be a good base to explore the area. The hotel lived up to all our high expectations and I would also add that the staff were fantastic - very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection on offer and helpful staff, although room service on the one occasion we had it was a little disappointing. In summary, a lovely, stylish, modern hotel, with great staff, in a great location. Of special mention is the wonderful roof top garden - a heavenly sun trap in the afternoons.

Great place to stay; great base for a Salento visit
A simply wonderful place to stay in this equally wonderful part of Italy. The Duomo Suite is a good choice: the room is huge, on the top floor, with 2 terraces and a view over the rooftops of Lecce to the - you guessed it - Duomo. And no loud church bells to wake you up. This suite in fact comprises 2 queen size and one king sized bedroom, 3 bathrooms, + sitting area and work area so there's heaps of room for you, or you + + if you are travelling in a group. Concierges Maria and Isabel are terrific, and, if you do some homework in advance and let them know what you want to see in the district, they organise it all for you. The hotel is also perfectly placed for your sightseeing and visit to Lecce. Lecce is a very beautiful town; it gleams golden in its local stone and is kept spotlessly clean and well-preserved. Opening times are reliable and the restaurants are splendiferous - including the hotel's special one. We strongly recommend this hotel. It is also a perfect jumping off point for more exploration, as the hotel is easy to get into (even though it's right in the historical centre), and none of the major sights of the region are more than about an hour's drive away. The emphasis is on luxury throughout.

Excellent stay
This hotel is very central in Lecce and only a few minutes walk from all the attractions. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was very spacious and luxurious. All the staff were very kind and helpful especially at reception. Breakfast had everything that one might wish for, including wonderful fresh fruit and some local delicacies. We made several trips by train to local places and the station was only about 10 mins walk away.Lecce itself is a delightful baroque city well worth a visit.The hotel does have some exercise equipment in a tiny room, but there is little variety although it is of good quality.
