Excellent value for money
If business takes you to Sharjah, the Golden Tulip is a no brainer.Situated right next to Corniche lake, it is pretty central to the city, and has a shopping mall attached right to it - quite convenient.Not sure about all the rooms, however mine was a full suite, with a kitchenette. Pretty clean, nice bed - everything feels taken care of.A decent breakfast was included, although more variety would be welcome (from what I've heard from colleagues, what I got was much better than what there was before, so not sure if more variety will ever come). The breakfast comes with an excellent view of Corniche lake, as the dining room is situated at the top floor of the hotel.A definite repeat.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks now, the service is absolutely amazing, however the breakfast buffet is actually boring but it¿¿¿s convenient for 3 or 4 days visit, the location of the hotel is ideal they have Carrefour and fitness 1st in the same building, I would like thank from the reception: Miss. Shine for her great help and for being very friendly, also the guy who is working in the house keeping 11th floor, such a great guy very helpful .

Room stank of cigars
We booked a non smoking room in this property and were allocated a NS room.The room had a very strong smell of cigar smoke and we asked for another, but the hotel said they were full and could not provide one.The housekeeper informed us that the previous guests had smoked heavily and tried to use deodorant spray to mask the cigar aroma, but it had little effect.We checked out a day early. losing 170¿¿¿ of pre-paid rooms, but it was worth it to get away from the smell.Every hotel can suffer from this issue, but the response was unacceptable and we got the feeling that the management were not too worried.

Hotel worth visiting again
Great location--close proximity to Corniche with parks around just across for your evening time pass and walks.Walkable distance to all shopping complex--Carrefour.Rooms are really spacious,worth the tariff.Good service too.Has a small shopping complex too plus a small scale Carrefour is attached which is open from 8am to late night giving you option to shop late.Breakfast needs to be spiced up esp the menu part and add more variety to offer.Recomend for ppl on business stay.

Great for a family getaway
Nice location, with supermarkets around, the Sharjah waterfront with cafe's and restaurants all around. The parking is Valet and free, nice staff and they are helpful and smiling.The internet is not free and a bit costly, rooms are clean and quiet, but in busy times it will be packed with families and children, could be very noisy.
