Large modern hotel in a convenient location.
This hotel is huge, able to cater for large groups. The reception area is very large, although the bar area is quite small, considering. Not a lot of people seemed to use it when I was there, even though the bar and reception are the only areas for WiFi access (which is free, if slow). The hotel has its own restaurant, which I used for dinner: very good food. It was about the average price for hotel restaurants as far as I remember. Breakfast is quite varied (especially the cakes, if you like that sort of thing!) and is served in the atrium/conservatory, which is pleasant other than for the fact that the glass covered sliced meat and cheese sat there quietly sweating in the full glare of the sun pouring through the glass roof...... I saw several rooms as I'd arrived hot and tired and was insisting on a room which had air conditioning which worked. The receptionist was very charming about it all and eventually put me into a room in the newer part of the hotel, somewhat more expensive, but which had a floor to ceiling window which could be opened. It was here that I discovered that there is some legislation which forbids hotels to use the air conditioning to cool rooms until June. Pity those of us travelling in S Italy in late May, when it's going to be hot! Maybe the hotel swimming pool will be filled and operational by then. At the moment it's empty and sad. The hotel is billed as being only 10 mins from the start of the historical centre - and for once, it is!! If, like me, you aren't a good walker, make your way to the Piazza Duomo - not far from where you enter the city - and get on the Dotto, the little land train which takes you around all the sights with a very good commentary in English. So, good place to stay, located on a very busy main road but convenient for the sights. I found the reception staff, one lady in particular, to be very helpful.

very good location
I liked this hotel,it is outside walls of lecce in the main roadLarge rooms.Clean rooms.Large selection of sweets and good breakfast.I stayed in this hotel for 4 days,there is free wifi in the reception,but not in the room.there are many tv channels to watch and we had 2 separated rooms in one room because we were 4 persons in 1 room.There is also a parking area outside hotel,but in the morning there will be lot of cars parked.We had clean towels everyday and shower cap,shoe shine,bath and showergell .What l did not like is the shower ,because it is fixed to the wall.I like this hotel and i will recomand it to everyone.

Excellent overall value.
This 4 star hotel is a little gem in a gem of a city. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and had a very good grasp of English which was most helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept. The cleaners did an excellent job, newly made beds , clean towels and a fresh smell throughout the room daily. Lovely pool area. Maybe best of all was the stunning breakfast. Something for everyones taste. A buffet table full of fresh pastries and cakes another table of fresh fruit beautifully prepared another with hot and cold savoury foods and the most fantastic bread. The staff were extremely attentive and as trays were emptied they were promptly replenished.All this in August for ¿¿53 a night for 2. Superb. We will be returning in September.

pleasantly surprised
Unexpectedly arrived at hotel having been disappointed with masseria accommodation which we had booked in Brindisi. Reception very helpful and quoted 2 room rates, we opted for the superior room as it was still almost 1/2 the cost of the masseria's. Room was very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was substantial and extensive. Hotel is well located to find,coming from the main road from Brindisi and within walking distance of Lecce centre. Swimming pool is a pleasant respite from the heat of the city with very comfortable loungers. We also ate in the hotel's restaurant during our 3 day stay which was also very pleasant.Staff throughout were very helpful and welcoming.

Good hotel in the north of the city
This is a good hotel in Lecce. The room we've been in was large, very clean. Parts of the hotel could need a renovation. The breakfast buffet offers excelent choices. The outdoor pool looks quite nice, though we did not use it. The hotel has a large parking garage free of charge, thus is ideal for arriving by car. Given the good price (~70EUR) I can only reccoment the hotel.
