Nice place, disappointing breakfast
Friendly welcome, car parking, rooms nicely furnished. Free wifi. Small shower. I would have gone 5 rating but for breakfast. We arrived at 9.30 half an hour before finish. There was a cold dish of egg and ham no fresh orange juice but some sweet stuff. Shame but good location for town.

A good base to visit Viterbo
Stopped 2 nights here on driving tour. My first impressions of the approach to the city and initial feelings inside the old city walls was that we have made a mistake - the old book cover thing was the answer. Viterbo is quite a nice city to visit.The hotel is modern, clean and very well serviced by excellent staff. It is a 5 minute walk into the old city where there is excellent shopping on pedestrian streets. the hotel has a restaurant but we did not eat here. The breakfast was simple continental style but was adequate The restaurants in the city are many and the hotel staff are very helpful to guide you to what you might prefer. There is very good parking under the hotel. we had a room at the back of the hotel and so was peaceful.

Found This gem by chance
The highway was closed due to flashfloods on my way to Florence. Ended up spending the night here, and was very agreeably surprised. It is ideally located at the entrance of the town. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and the caff¿¿ was simply perfect. Quite recommended as an overnight stop on a road trip or a get away destination for couple (the village is very scenic and romantic)

No air conditioning.
Really nice, clean room. Big with a balcony. Really hot day and the air conditioning did not cool the room at all. The staff offered to change rooms, but the alternative room was also too hot. Shower enclosure leaked all over the carpet. needed a cab to catch a 7:00 am train -- he charged me 20 euro to go 1 mile "because it was so early". Ride from the train station the the hotel was 4 euro. Overall, if the weather isn't too hot, then this hotel is a wise choice.

Uninteresting hotel
The good : Charming and helpful female staff. Male members are not worthy of this praise.The bad : Busloads. Not at all ****. Clear feeling that money is saved on absolutely everything possible. Tired place with dirty carpets and broken appliances. Airco blows warm air only, it's cheaper that way but you won't sleep well. Very noisy location at crossroads especially if you have to keep your window open. Unreliable WIFI. Miserable breakfast. Bad tasting Expresso in a country where the coffee is great even on motorways. Very, very uninteresting place. Cheap in every sense.
