Excellent Hotel
We have just returned from a week in Es Moli (in late May 2013). Despite very disappointing weather (maximum temperatures never rose about 23C and averaged 17C) we thouroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovley hotel. The room we stayed in was on the 5th floor of the main building - we did not have a balcony which, had the weather been warmer, would have been lovely. As the weather was not co-operating, the lack of a balcony really made little difference. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and accomodating. We sat by the pool on a number of occaisons (when we could) and I have to say that it is one of the most spectacular outdoor pools I have ever used - its huge with crystal clear (warm) water and, at its deep end, has to be close to 3.5 metres in depth. The food in the hotel is very good but it's not correct in my opinon to classify it as exceptional. Breakfast were also very good with an excellent selection of fruts, meats and eggs (any style). One very niggly point was how dissapointed we were with the coffee served at breakfast which was filter coffee provided in aluminum pots reminiscent of what you might see in a 1970's hotel. It would have been so much more pleasant to have access to freshly ground coffee (such as Nespresso which, incidentally is available to guests in other parts of the hotel). Dinner is also very good service. Service is discreet and efficient. We went one one day to the private cove operated by the hotel - it is a 20 minute bus ride which is provided free of charge by the hotel. Once you arrive there, the steps down to the water are not for the faint hearted but it's so worth it - it must be absolutely lovely when the weather is nice !! Overall,I can highly recommend this hotel and my best advice is if you're insistent on nice weather go in July/August.

Breathtakingly Beautiful
The hotel and staff are just simply the most you can wish for if you are in search of a peaceful, relaxing and simple luxurious break. You can lie by the pool all day and take a walk in the evenings for a delicious meal at Deia which is a 15 minute walk away. We got a room with a balcony and it was tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The staff of the hotel were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a cove which you can get to by the notel coach, a must!

Traditional Hotel in superb location
Although, we've been to Majorca many times we have only ever driven through Deia before (probably due to the lack of parking) so this was the first time we've stayed here.The location of the hotel is superb, the service is great, but it's very British! So if you want to have a luxury hotel in a beautiful location, but still watch BBC and ITV this is the one for you.A couple of little niggles - 1. they have those horrid coat hangers that clip in - if someone pinches decent coat hangers charge them rather than treating us all like potential thieves 2. the refrigerator has one of those awful signs saying it's not for putting your stuff in. I could accept that if they then provided you free bottled water, but they charge ¿¿¿3.75 for each bottle! I'm sure you can safely drink the water from the taps, but we always drink bottled water when on holiday.Both of these things seem 'cheap' in what is a luxury hotel.Overall, it's really nice.

Unspoilt Majorca at its best!
We have just visited the Es Moli Hotel in beautiful Deia, for the first time, and we will definitely be back.The hotel is set quite high above the road on the outskirts of the totally unspoilt village of Deia. It takes about 15 mins to walk to the village, where there of lots of super restaurants. The hotel staff are a delight, and nothing seems too much trouble.People obviously come back here year after year, and are greeted like long lost friends. The pool area is gorgeous,and there was never a shortage of sun beds. We stayed in the Annex, which is set high above the pool area, and, to be fair, we would perhaps would not choose again,because the views are great, but you have to climb up about 80 steep steps to your room !!The breakfast was good, perhaps the range could be a little wider in a 4 star hotel. The rooms are big with loads of storage. It is a wonderful base to explore this wonderful island. All in all a great choice hotel.... We will be back !

A little piece of heaven on earth
We have stayed in this hotel a couple of times - the first time unfortunately we were in the annexe and we wouldn't recommend this if you are not a fit person. However, the next time we requested a room on the fourth floor and it was perfect. The swimming pool is on this level and you only have to go down another level for the restaurant. This is a totally chilled out hotel in the most glorious of settings overlooking the village of Deia. The only noise you hear during the day is the tinkling of bells on the goats and the occasional nay from the resident donkeys. The food is superb with waiter service and we found them to be very attentive. I advised them on the first evening that I required a Gluten free meal and this was never mentioned again - they remembered and catered for me everytime.The shuttle service to the cove is brilliant and makes a change from laying round the pool all day, having said that we are quite happy to do that - get through plenty of books!Can't wait to return!
