Stayed at the hotel as part of a coach your with national holidays - just me and my young grandson. Rooms were cosy if not a little dated. Location is lovely - a superb little village. The reception staff could do with some customer service training. However restaurant staff were impeccable - Adele and Elly were all too friendly and nothing was too much trouble and we looked forward to seeing them each evening. I think my grandson took a bit of a shine to the young waitress. We would definitely return. Thankyou to the restaurant staff for making our stay so relaxed, humorous, and enjoyable - even if no other staff did.

really pleasant
Stayed for 1 night on a dinner inclusive rate the dinner was really nice and the hotel was very impressive and for the price couldnt fault it. The hotel is set in lovely grounds aswell and was very peaceful great comfortable bed too.One complaint.....clean the glass on the front doors !!!!!Anthony the f and b supervisor was very good aswellWill definately return

Nowhere to park
We stayed at the Britannia hotel near Leeds Bradford Airport for 1 night prior to an early flight the following day. On arrival we pulled up outside the reception but could see the car park was full of cars and coaches. We checked in and asked the receptionist where we should leave our car. She directed us to a grassy area not actual car park and told us to move the car when a space became available. The room was small but clean and adequate and the evening meal was inexpensive and reasonable quality, although the deserts had been picked over by previous guests and were in edible. The transfers to and from the hotel were very good and we did manage to park the car in a proper space the following morning, although struggled to get it out on our return due to coaches parked closely to it. I think this hotel caters more for its coach parties than individual parties.

Double Booked!
We were a party of 10 going on holiday. We dont live that far away from LB airport but decided to stay in the hotel due to an early morning flight and travelling with a baby.On the day of our stay I was telephoned at 1pm to say that the rooms had been double booked and that we had been transferred to their other hotel in the centre of Leeds.This resulted in a journey time of 30 minutes to the airport from a below average hotel in a not so nice area of Leeds. We would have been better off staying at home.Im sure this was a one off, but it would put me off staying in a Britannia hotel again.

Just the job
Stayed 2 nights with a weeks parking in between flights...room clean and comfortable equipped with all you need.taxi transfers to and from airport very efficient...decent , but not outstanding , evening meal and breakfast.decor at bit dated and grubby in places...facelift required!......would use again .
