This particular hotel is a short drive from the airport but taxi is charging 30 Euro for the short trip. On arrival, the staff seems friendly but that was just the greeting part, when you start asking them questions, they became reluctant to answer and be careful when booking shuttle (chargeable) with the hotel at 8 Euro per person to train station and airport, These booking are not changeable, you will have to make up your mind on the time before booking for it. In room it is advertised 15 minutes service guarantee but dont bother, we waited for the whole night to fix the curtain/blinds but nobody turn up. When we approach the reception to ask for public transportation details the next day, without asking where we are going, we kept receiving suggestion of Bus 81 and 86. So please download a transportation app (available for android and iphone) which is more accurate and the transportation that we found out we have to take is Line 85 and he told us there is no Bus 85. So we went next door, the staff at Ibis Budget is even friendlier than the Ibis Hotel, she told us the directions and there is indeed bus 85.There is a Mc Donalds next to the hotel doesn't make sense as they do not open until 11am! so no breakfast serve. All in all stay in this hotel if you don't have too much to ask but just the room. The staff are not ready to serve. The only good thing about the hotel is the room...

Arrived after a long day traveling at around 11.45pm and just wanted to shower and go to bed before a long drive the next morning.Queue was out the door for checking in and one member of staff doing the work. Other patrons of the hotel asking so many questions and so on for bus time tables and so on and no one else came to help.Got to our room about 12.30am no joke. Room was on ground floor - disabled, and dirty with hair all over the bathroom.Even only for one night - if I were you I'd pay a little more and stay elsewhere. This hotel lacks serious customer service.

The hotel is newer, and I've stayed at many Ibis hotels, so I had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, the service at this hotel was absolutely horrible. They should be ashamed to call themselves hospitality employees. I am American, so I know I have higher expectations, but the staff at this hotel didn't even meet my minimum standards. They offered no information when checking in about internet, the prepaid breakfast we had bought and the parking situation. Their English is not great even though they proudly wear tags that say they speak it. Do not prepay for the breakfast through the Ibis online special. It seems like a good deal, but you don't get their full breakfast. You only get coffee, orange juice and a croissant at the bar. Its not the full breakfast that everyone else gets to eat. I will never stay here again. On top of all of this, my room had a smelly odor to it and it was a non-smoking room. Its not even that close to the airport (10 km away).

where to start? the hotel is really far from everywhere.! take the bus 99 from airport and ask to the driver, they are kindly, then you'll need to walk around 30mins to get hotel, which with suitcase not easy.! to get downtown, almost in front of the hotel take the bus 81 or 86 both same. go to last station then you'll need to walk " a lot" to the heart of the city ( Rambla etc.) and the rooms; I've stay at room 205 and room phone does not work, so if u need to ask something ( which you'll need !) you should go downstairs all the time.! wifi is not reasonable it's cutting every 15 mins and they're giving you daily password ( so every time when it cut, you should put again and again to connect.) you have hair dryer no fridge, mc Donald's just few steps from hotel open till midnight. For me, if you don't have to stay in this area, find another hotel.

There is no hotel in Barcelona Airport surroundings better than this, when compared with the money paid. Reception and restaurant crew was nice, diligent and thoughtful. Restaurant is not five stars, but food was decent. Room was well insulated, much recommended if in need to rest. All kind of shops and services are available at walking distance.
