What is TripAdvisor?
Good hotel but not the best location

Visit to Barcelona
Our room and the corridor to it - 3rd floor- reeked of smoke which was not pleasant. There was an ashtray on the bedside table which leads me to believe that they turn a blind eye to smoking in the room. The room was dull and there was a hole in the bed cover. I do wonder whether the 'poorer' rooms are allocated to people who book through Bookings.com or similar as this is the not the first time we have experienced this. The hotel was by no means full and the receptionist implied we had a large room (not- just a normal size room). I would say that the hotel and room was clean. We didn't partake of breakfast as I have food intolerances and it is awkward to eat breakfast in Europe so we take our own. It is only a short walk to the Metro which is very easy to use, so a very convenient location, albeit not very inspiring. Disappointing that the hotel offered no bar or restaurant services only breakfast.

Good hotel but not the best location
We were hoping to be close to the airport but the taxi ride there was quite expensive (more than 30 Euro). It would have been more convenient to stay downtown and take the Airport bus. That way we would have access to downtown sites and services and pay only 6 Euro each for the bus. Hotel personal was friendly, helpful and spoke good English but there was nothing to do around the hotel and restaurants were hard to find (outside of the hotel).

Barca with the girlfriend
I really liked the hotel and the staff were so helpful . The swimming pool was lovely and helped make my trip to Barcelona that little bit more enjoyable. the metro station is just a short walk away from the hotel and you can get to the city centre in no time. if you don't want to pay for the big city prices for accommodation this is a great alternative. the area itself is really nice with a small small shops and restaurants. There are a few little shopping centres and the locals seem really friendly. inter connection isn't the best though this could be frustrating, other then that the rooms are smart and a good rate you can't go wrong.The hotel is 10/15minutes walk from rcd espanyol football ground the 'second team' in barcelona who play at the newly built 40,000 el prat stadium.

Good enough place
My wife and I spent roughly three days here. It's a decent hotel. The rooms and the hotel itself are clean and well-maintained. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on how good/bad that was. The hotel is a very short walk away from the metro station (Cornella Centre). It's also quite close to Barcelona's main airport but if you're flying Ryanair, it could take a while (2 hours for the bus and metro rides) to get to/from their airports (Girona/Reus). There's a nice shopping centre close by. Right in front of the hotel, there's a Japanese restaurant. There's also a nice eatery beside this Japanese restaurant where you can get nice sandwiches if you get past the near-complete ignorance of the English language the owners seem to possess (hint: practise your gesticulating).The front-desk staff maintained an "I will answer your questions because it is my job" attitude. This didn't hamper our enjoyment of the trip or anything (mentioned it to justify my 'average' rating). The temperature control (the cooling function, mainly) in our room didn't seem to be working properly. We were advised to turn it off, as a remedial measure. I can imagine this being a problem in the summer months.The Internet connection sucks. Takes an awfully long time to load a page. In this day and age, when we can land Curiosity on Mars, we should be able to load a webpage without difficulty.All in all, this isn't a bad hotel to stay in. You can easily spend a couple of days here if you're only going to use the room for sleeping and storing your luggage. It's just that there's nothing to write home about.

Good Business Hotel
Modern, clean hotel, reasonable breakfast and friendly staff. Only complaint would be that the corridors could do with a clean as they were very dirty.Close to airport and convinient for my meeting location. Reasonable price.
