"Will go back"
We stayed for 4 nights in this lovely hotel which is in a great location. The price is a bit expensive compared to other hotels nearby but by the end of our break it was worth the extra expense. We were upgraded to a suite which overlooked the front gardens, with its own balcony. The room was large with a huge comfortable bed and a separate sitting area and large bathroom. The staff were very helpful and would help with any questions we had regarding services or local tourist information. Breakfast was nice and healthy. The hotel bar was a bit quite but you can walk down the road for something with a bit more atmosphere.The pool was a bit small but nicely done on the roof with great views and had enough sunbeds and towels. Didn't try the hotel restaurant. Would recommend this hotel as we will definitely return.

Amazing hospitality
I stayed 5 days in this wonderful little chateau-like hotel. The location is perfect - in the middle of town, yet quiet, with a wonderful lush garden. The room & bathroom were huge & carefully modernized with ultra-high ceilings. Ok, the spa area could be larger as well as the pools. But the service was simply incredible. It starts out with a sumptuous breakfast with tons of fruit. After the first night, they knew my beverage taste. Everything was served automatically from the next night on. One early evening, I sat outside in the garding playing my smartphone. The waiter Sebastian brought my favourite wine as a gift aperitif. The next morning my favourite green tea and fresly squeezed orange Juice sat already at my table. And when I asked him about the fleur de sel (Special wonderful salt), he gave me a box of salt as a gift, accompanied by wonderful Soller oil. This is stunning Service I have never experienced before! And it wasn¿¿t just this particuliar waiter, it was all of the staff, especially the lovely receptionists, who were always kind and very eager to help. Go there! You won¿¿t regret it

Beautiful location but disappointing
We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2013. The room was of average size, but the beds were not turned down in the evening and the towels were changed only once a day, which is all inconsistent with the standards of a five star hotel. There were ring and splash marks on the marble surfaces, when we arrived and still there when we left. The same was apparent in the public rooms.Dinner was advertised on the hotel website as a "tasting menu". A tasting menu is 7-9 fixed small courses offering different tastes. This was 3 large courses with no choice other than two choices of starter. There was also an apperitif. The cooking was simple made from inexpensive ingredients. The rooftop restaurant was closed for refurbishment throughout our stay. The alternative, the ground floor restaurant was out of bounds on some occasions because of functions, but there was no communication of this to residents, who had to ask where breakfast or dinner was, when we were directed to a basement room, by very helpful receptionists.We would not recommend this hotel.

Will definitely return
We have just returned from a few days in this fabulous hotel. We had never stayed here before and we were very impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were a good size, as was the bathroom. The beds were the most comfy we had experienced in Spain. We had a standard room facing the road - this could be a bit noisy at times but we chose to have the windows open rather than use the air conditioning. The hotel is ideally placed to explore the area - tram stop to the port almost outside. Soller is a very pretty place and everyone seems to be very friendly. There is enough to do here for a few days - trip into Palma or Port de Soller, amble up to the villages of Binaraix or Fornalutz, get a taxi to Deia. You do not need a car here. We used Majorcan Airport Transfers to get to and from the hotel - very reasonable and efficient. If you visit the Port you must try Ca's Mariner restaurant - get off the tram and continue in the direction it was travelling. This restaurant is on the hill a short distance away. Continue on up the hill for fabulous views of the harbour.

Outstanding Hotel and Restaurant with a view second to none.
Having just returned from the Gran Hotel Soller I had to write this review.The rooms are delightful and the standard 6 star.The restaurant caters for all tastes and the snack menu is priced at 'normal' levels. The kitchen is being relocated to the front of the hotel so guests will be able to watch the chef do his art.The management team are a family in all senses.They also have their own winery with a shop along side the hotel so you can take home all the goodies on departure. The 'Angel' rose is excellent.
