Excellent Hotel for Business Travelers in Financial District
I stayed at Le Meridien San Francisco in the Financial District for the first two weeks in May. The rooms are a good size for San Francisco hotels and the suites have a separate living area and reasonably sized work desk. The In-Room Internet is $12.95 a day and is wired, ethernet cable internet access, not wifi. All in all the rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. There is a business center in the basement with several treadmills and basic workout machines. The treadmills have TV in the actual machine along with Ipod hookups. If you don't bring your own headphones they have complimentary headphones you can use. Again, for San Francisco this is a pretty decent hotel workout facility.The Park Grill is very good and, though pricey, isn't much higher than the typical prices for nearby restaurants of the same caliber. The chicken entree ($22) is fantastic. The bar in the lobby is also nice and is rarely empty. If you haven't had it, try the Great White lager.If you forego maid service and hang a card outside your door to indicate this they will give you a $5 food credit at the hotel.

Good hotel, conveniently situated
Stayed a couple of nights, great room on 23rd floor with amazing views over the bay. Breakfast was excellent, buzzy bar at happy hour! Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently situated and we walked most places.

Pleasantly Surprised
I am a Marriott guy who sometimes stays at SPG properties. A few times per year. Mostly St Regis and Ws. Stayed here for one night with my wife. Got upgraded to a very nice Jr. Suite. Huge by San Francisco standards. I believe it was close to 500 sqft. Nice big bathroom with separate shower and tub. Good corner view of the financial district, Ferry Building, Coit Tower, and the Bay Bridge. And we were on one of the lower floors. The floors were relatively small, with about 10-12 rooms on them. This kept the noise to a minimum.Room was clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable.Negatives included a duvet cover and pillow cover that both had rips in them. Towels were just OK. No pool or hot tub.Bar downstairs (333) had great happy hour pricing.We would stay again.

Very nice hotel, very nice location
Le meridian is a Starwood Hotel, so you can expect the same luxury as the likes of Westin and cousins. We stayed here 2 nights while in SF and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were beautiful, clean with an excellent view. Beds were very comfortable and the blinds were too good (almost missed half the day cause we slept in) ;) I would definitely stay here again

Great location and great service
Had a room with a great Bay view, great service and a short walk to Ferry Building, Chinatown and North Beach. Room was clean and well appointed. Only complaint is lack of vending machines for something to drink late at night (just ice machine).Got a great deal on Priceline.
